VN Ren'Py Completed One Night Stand [v1.0] [ONS]

Finished this last installment on all 3 possible endings. And the ending I got last was the one where Elena revisits David at the bar. That was the ending, where I wished the most, that the game would go on. The bus stop ending also left me wanted for more. Sadly that won't happen, because of the conditions that were set. (Maybe at least for the forseeable future, a man can dream can he?) It was a quite interesting night and artwork and writing were top. And I don't say that easily.

As for the promotion and support part, I also do have some critics:
I have to agree, that the promotion wasn't good. The game showed up only 3 times on here. In 8 months. With this low visibility, it's no wonder, there was barely any support. Heck, I sadly forgot that this game existed, but played all 3 versions. I even told some people in my bubble about it, in hope they would be interested and maybe are able to help supporting in the same way (spreading the word) or even financially (a thing I'm ATM no able to do, sorry). But after spreading the word and few weeks after, the memory was gone. I have to agree, that more frequent (and smaller) updates could have helped.

Nonetheless, I wish both devs good luck with their next projects.

As for the other people, there are tags missing: vaginal sex, oral sex, creampie, male dom, multiple endings
The kinetic tag is WRONG and should removed, since there are some choices, that alter more than dialog and even influence the ending you can get.

EDIT: Just saw that the missing tags were added. That should solve the problem.

That's a great idea, we can definitely consider it! ONS could work well as a wrapped little short story on a marketplace like Steam.

Steam has a lot of short little porn games that take an hour or so to complete. None of them look remotely as good as this one. So you could probably put it on there for a few bucks and make some decent change. I'd buy it.

Sad to see that that this has come to end so early. If I could've afforded it, this is the type of AVN I would've supported financially. Great story, beautiful renders and the endings definitely leave me wondering what could've been. On the bright side, it leaves me excited for what each of the Devs come up in the future.

Thank you so much for the kind words! We're genuinely grateful for all the support that we did receive, in whatever amount and form that it was (seriously, even the comments here on F95 were an invaluable source of motivation).

You bring up excellent points, and as JohnF95zone said, I personally have learnt so much invaluable experience during these 3 releases that I don't think I could've gotten otherwise. Be it technical things, or marketing and management.

Your first and second points are undoubtedly things we could've improved upon. For your third point, while I do understand that some tags may put people off completely, I think we just believed in ONS being a "special" project; one that does not try to appeal to the masses, or compete with big projects, and is its own little thing.
And as I said in the letter column on our Patreon: We like to think that we were making a "One Night Stand" game, one that could be expanded beyond the first night in the case of a good amount of financial support. If not, then the game would be, as the title says, a "One Night Stand".

I can promise that we'll be using these lessons learned in the future projects.

Not a fan of the length... I guess mainly because everything about it was so damn good that I wanted the story to continue on. A monster of a winning team that I hope will bring their talents to the longer running variety of Kinetic Novels.. Either way this one was impressive.

Having just completed this VN, I feel like I just got out of a strange roller-coaster ride. I really enjoyed the first delivery, it almost felt like it didn't need any more development, it was fine the way it was. Then came the second release and I was confused. In my opinion, it didn't add anything to the story or to the characters. I was in fact disappointed.
And now the third installment brings me back to the high I felt when I played the first part. I think it was captivating to a point I was sincerely surprised when it got to the sex part. I almost felt that the story would be as great without it, but we are here for the porn, so I guess it made complete sense.
As for last scene, I sincerely could do without the happy-ending. In my personal opinion, a "One Night Stand" does not rhyme with "Happy Ending". But maybe that's just me.

I really liked Elena, the model was really nice. I liked writing and the backgrounds were really nice. Oh, bonus points for the scenes with the high heels!! So, I see myself replaying it somewhere in the future, just to see if Elena is doing fine

All that is left is to leave my congrats to the devs!! I think you guys did an amazing job and I will be looking forward for your next project!!

agreed, I think bittersweet ending would fit better to the story and i always thought that hook up would be more of a learning experience for both of them,amazing game either way tho.

Enjoyed playing the game.

I felt the bus stop ending was more fitting for ONS's theme. It's like David has managed to get Elena to see her submissive side. Elena fears that side of hers and tries to make a quick escape before she fully accepts it, but David thinks with a few more conversations Elena would be his own toy that would bring him happiness.

The emotions were so raw. David's such a POS. I love it!

It's a shame that ONS never got the hype that it deserved. Some other users had highlighted the failings in promotion and I have to agree with them. The only reason that I knew about this game was that I was lucky to see it in Latest Games and Updates section when 0.2 was out. I suppose more frequent updates would've allowed the game to get the attention. Hopefully, the devs use that approach in their next games. Good luck!

BDSM includes Domination and Discipline. ONS has that in one of the routes. There is no bondage in the game tho.
