What is the Castro brother caseOngoing health issues as it seems. Maybe some complicated surgery or long term treatment or extreme burnout but we'll never know for sure until Cedsence decides to come back and write a public post about it.
To illustrate a bit how difficult it really is to pinpoint motivations behind these kinds of sudden absences I remember the dev from a game called Harem went MIA one day and came back just about a year and a half later and as It turned out we ended up discovering (to the surprise of absolutely everyone) that he had left because of the Castro Brothers' case, because it "hit too close to home" with his game's theme and lore and his guilt somewhat prevented him from continuing his work.
So let it be a cautionary tale that despite sounding like a seemingly stupid excuse to us you never really know whats happening inside someone mind and what the person is feeling and all that jazz.
...still wondering if some kind of work was done last May though.
What is the Castro brother case
Ahhh. Are you suggesting the game predated the crime of Castro? This is a slippery slope because I like Call of Duty, but I don't even own a gun so it'd be hard for me to go on a "rampage" like I do in video games. Also, I used to be pretty good at warcraft III, but I don't own an axe or sword and there aren't any orcs, night elves, or undead to slay...even if there were I don't think I'd slay them. You must be registered to see the links
For some reason I held it in my my memory that there were multiple kidnappers and they were all related but now that I've searched it it ended up turning out it was only this one guy, so, the "Castro... guy" case I guess. Weird Mandela effect.
Anyway, some dude kidnapped a bunch of girls and kept them captive as sex slaves somewhere inside his house. Ker (the game's dev) took it personally because his game's MC also goes around back and forth enslaving people (thus building the proverbial *harem*) and then the dev went on a spiritual hiatus for a long time.
Not to sound too snob and philosophic in a porn media forum but I sincerely believe we are all born, we live and ultimately die completely alone. No two people perceive the world in the same way, no two people ever "connect" or "soul bond" or none of that nonsense, and your first person view of the world is forever locked away from anybody else.Ahhh. All creations are only what they are. You and I can read the Bible and come away with completely different perceptions and those can influence behaviors, but the Bible itself does not have any real power over our actions...only what we assign to it.
We are all influenced by our environments, but this Castro guy was criminal in his own actions because he didn't respect girls as human beings and instead viewed them as his sex toys. That is unacceptable and dangerous behavior and I've played games with similar scripts, but those are weird fantasies along the lines of incest where I would never act on them in reality...just weird fantasies...like most of sex fantasies (in my opinion)
You can feel completely alone and still respect another person's ability to feel completely alone simultaneously. Sex slavery, labor slavery, or taking advantage of a child is not providing them with the same luxuries you (or me or anyone) have. It is unacceptable and rightly criminal. Not to sound too snob and philosophic in a porn media forum but I sincerely believe we are all born, we live and ultimately die completely alone. I mention this because the second best thing we can hope to accomplish is to try to imagine how the other person is feeling at some given moment by a somewhat flawed exercise of empathy, in this case, by trying to imagine what could've happened to this guy that made him despair in such a way he essentially BSOD'd on his own game
Sure, I know that kids dying from famine in Somalia is a very shitty thing, but I don't really *feel* bad about it while I live my mundane suburban daily life, but that could've been entirely different If I was forced to experience the horror right in front of me or someone dear to me died from malnutrition or even worse, If I experienced extreme hunger myself.
Going back to Cedsense then, whatever happened to the dude probably happens to be more complex than what we were led to believe but we just don't know for certain either way and we couldn't know, not yet.
There is a patch and it will show in a few seconds. You have to choose were you want to save itwhy is there a link for patch BUT when ya click patch link theres no patch?
this is like the 3rd or 4th game doing this sup?
While the ban of adult material on Steam has been lifted we don't know the dev's health situation, and even if he'd be up to it, games there are typically published completed or in seasons. I don't know if Early Access is the way to go here considering - once again - the health situation.Just to came here to say damn this game is good.
If dev is still lurking here I want to ask this: why not to put this on steam? Do they have policy against adult material? I am sure this would sell well.
steam has rules for nudity stuffJust to came here to say damn this game is good.

The developer has serious health problems, as he warned about.I do wonder what happen, did you lost hope, or did to many paths?
