A bit of build-up is cool. It makes the desire grow. One sure thing is I don't want to share Cindy with anybody in the game.
In that kind of game, with different characters, I really enjoy a
"reversed corruption" path. For example, in GGGB, helping Jessica to deal with her drug problem, and make her follow the artistic career she wants, while being good Ash's girlfriend. It's really satisfying.
In the case of Cindy, it would be something like teaching her that the whole world cannot go her way all the time and helping her find herself, what she likes and what to do with her life - if possible by being a supportive, but not a simp, boyfriend. She has the potential to be a real sweetheart, at the end. But it would definitely require a bit of work

I don't think her actual boyfriend is what she needs since he is way too passive. Cindy definitely has some issues - she doesn't really know who she is and what she wants - and needs someone that really cares. Even if it would complicated, since she acts like a pampered princess sometimes. She's clearly a character that could take bad decisions and follow the wrong, abusive people if left alone ; which is basically what happens already in the game. With her passive boyfriend, she already asks Ian out, and even with him around, she has no problem drinking Axel's words and agrees to be his model, despite not knowing him. She has just enough maturity and lucidity to ask Ian, someone she can trust, to be here too.
To me, Cindy is definitely the character that walks on a thin line right now. She can either be a fulfilled, happy young woman, or a dumb broken slut, depending on the people she meets. More than any other female character.
She's definitely the non-protag, female character I'm the most interested in. Even if Alison is something too, if her
"I love you" is sincere. Those two girls are definitely the ones you have to fight for, if you want to build a serious relationship.
