The assumed frigidy of VtM Vampires is just one of the major brain farts of that game! It shows clearly that VtM Vampires are simply Hollywood Vampires with some old lore window dressing, which is often wrong too.
For instance, legends of the amorous Bloodsuckers go all the way back to Babylonian(!) times already. Even a greenhorn Nachzehrer, Neuntöter or Doppelsauger would rip apart even the most experienced VtM Vampire or Werewolf! And don´t get me started on the sunlight thing, even if that is not a bug of VtM only, but many other "modern" works!
If you look at the real legends, only very few specific variants of Bloodsuckers, about maybe 5-10%, are vulnerable to sunlight in various degrees, e.g. the Adze or the Penangalan.

Yep, one major reason all "World of Darkness" stuff RAW is in essence unplayable dur to clunky rules and Meta World brain shots as these, forcing you to houseruling. Example on computer games is "VtM Night Road" (which is a good game), where the developers themselves ignore/houserule part of the rules, esp. Hunger, because they recognised that the basic ruleset is ....

As for "Pale Carnations", currently all this talk about Vampires, etc. is just pre-Halloween stuff due to some fanart.

Or will there be some more arcs even after the current Carnations game is done?

Also, game is currently at Chapter 3, any rough idea/estimate you and your fellow co-dev have in mind of how many chapters in total the game will have?

Certain endings will be followed by an epilogue of various length, both to show how things logically played out in the aftermath and to maybe fit in some content that I would like to see, but would only make sense after Edwin has ultimately decided to stay or leave the club.

Hmm it's tough to say exactly. Timeline wise, yeah. We're at the halfway mark. Week 2 of 4.

Outline wise, it's hard for me to judge how chapter 4 will compare to chapter 3 length-wise once it's properly fleshed out with text and dialogue. Chapter 3 has ended up lot longer than Chapter 2 (and it's not even over), but I don't think chapter 4 will similarly dwarf chapter 3.

Chapter 5 will be a doozy.
