I hate this type of Changelog/Version implementation. What is Chapter 3? Is it the 3rd installment of the game, do I need to download the previous 2 Chapters separately? Is it all one big game? Is Chapter 3 the halfway point, or is it barely started?
Do you see links to previous chapters in the OP? It shouldn't be that hard to deduce that the file on first page has all the chapters.

True. I am still thinking if it is worth all the potential problems to mess with Ian and Edwin's relationship by going after Mina. Although some part of me feels like Ian may not even bother much with that...:unsure:

One of the better things about this game is that while ian is definitely a scumbag to mina, he's a true friend to the protag, so getting with sweet mina wont feel as satisfying as Id like.
He's definitely a scumbag to Mina (there's no doubt there).
Though I guess the greater question is, is there any woman that he has been putting his cock in that he isn't a scumbag to?
(Like for example, the maid for his home etc though that's just one example I'd assume)

I mean sure, it's all relatively less compared to how he treats Mina, but it just seems that's how his character is, being fast and loose regarding his relationships with all women.

Ian finding out me and Mina are in a relationship I guess would be a sight to see:

Ian: (upon finding out me and Mina are together) Dude! That's awesome! Now we can have a threesome!

Me: Dude, I love you and you're my bro and all,.... but fuck off (okay, perhaps not as literally as harsh as this, but still a very, very firm refusal :ROFLMAO: ) . Mina is with me, and me only!

p.s. Man I'm really itching for Hana & Mina content. Them two are my favorite girls in this game (I gotta admit, I love Hana slightly more. Mina is a very close second though).

Ian suffers from a really bad case of hero worship. Before he wanted to be a "bad ass" like Edwin, since that was how he saw him. But now he is pretty much imitating the way his uncle Chuck treats women. Maybe his mother is right and Edwin can steer Ian away from his uncle's influence.

I agree. Uncle Chuck, despite his whole kind demeanor towards Ian & Edwin, is a bad influence in regarding Ian.
At least with Edwin (MC), he has his whole career in becoming a Doctor where he can fall back to, even if he should for some reason turn down the whole Carnations club managing job by the end of the game.

Though while it's easy to say "MC should steer Ian away from uncle Chuck's influence." putting it into action I feel is incredibly difficult (I mean, from what we've seen of Ian so far, he really loves his job at the Carnations Club, so is getting him away from there and back into school [like what his mom seemed to suggest] even a possibility? Hmmmm  )

I agree with this reasoning. Uncle Chuck might be really kind and supporting of Ian and the MC (in Edwin´s case he might even try to groom him towards being his successor, there are paths with strong hints into this direction), but there is a more or less hidden dark side to Chuck.
Since Grace, Ian´s Mum, despite being a doctor for children, never really cared for Ian when it counted, Killian looked for this care and friendship elsewhere. First just Edwin, later on Chuck and Edwin.

Killian´s biggest problem with women is the ice-cold treatment he got from his Mom, which imprinted some really bad expectations. In one of my playthroughs Ian acknowledges that Mina is special for him, but in the same talk and late on it becomes clear that his Mum´s treatment left scars. Ian does not believe that when push comes to shove, a woman will go through it with him, supporting him. His Mom never did, so why should others, in his reasoning? So he treats women like a bad playboy. He likes them, loves some, lusts even more, but he does not respect them (with some rare exceptions like Edwin´s Mum). In a talk where Hana is present this becomes clear. Ian does and cannot see that his view of love and lust is influenced by his Mum´s neglect and Chuck´s boundless hedonism.
I theorise if we as the MCs are being a good friend to Killian too, we can change this and save his relationship with Mina. And steer him towards a more responsible lifestyle, but not necessarily the idea of it his parents have.

It's difficult to say for certain, though I'd like to think there's still some good left in Ian.

As RC-1138 said, Ian seems to have adopted Chuck's... transactional attitude towards women (and possibly his temper when they don't play along, if Dalia's alleged fear of Chuck is true). But he has not quite copied the affable facade Chuck uses to mask his predilections from the world. That fits in with Chuck's comment that Ian has a fairly unrealistic view of the world due to growing up rich. Combine this whatever mommy issues he had growing up, plus working for years in a club that literally exists to exploit vulnerable women and it's no surprise Ian has allowed his worst impulses to run almost entirely unchecked.

Almost entirely. There are a handful of indications that Ian is capable of being a better person. The most obvious is the MC's mom; I very much doubt Ian could carry on in his normal manner if he ever thought about how Victoria would react if should she learn about it. Getting her involved isn't something the MC would do (deliberately), but it does suggest that Ian still has a conscience somewhere we might be able to tap into. Similarly, the way Ian seems sincerely grateful if the MC takes Mina out shopping when Ian drunkenly forgot about it does hint at some genuine concern for Mina. Finally, Ian's seeming confusion on those occasions when the MC calls him out for bad behavior could be an indication that his jaded attitude towards infidelity is as much unconscious as it is intentional. If so, it's possible the MC could begin to change Ian's behavior simply by forcing him to address his transgressions head on.

The crisis with Mina is obviously a key part in any change we might be able to make in Ian. I've been trying to keep her Killian Romance points as high as possible in the hopes that she and MC could eventually team up to pull Ian out of Chuck's orbit. That's going to be a lot harder now, but I'm curious to see if the MC can convince her to give Ian another chance (not asking her to overlook Ian's behavior, BTW, just sharing the reasons he hasn't given up on Ian yet and hoping she will eventually feel likewise).

Hopefully we'll get our first glimpse of how this will unfold relatively soon.

Can I just say what a pleasant surprise this was to go through this. Every character actual has motivation for what they are doing besides just doing the 'nasty' and it's such a pleasant surprise to see at least some modicum of exposition in a porn based work. Can't wait for this to be finished. Or at least the next chapter. No idea how quickly these folks are working on it and looks like the last update was back in August.
