Just played this game through to the current end point and absolutely loved it! Definitely in my top 3 or 4 games currently being developed. Not sure there are quite enough parallel story lines to justify a complete play over but will probably start from the beginning again after the next update and make some alternative choices to see where I end up. Love the backdrop and enough back-story to give the characters real substance. MC is dorky (which I like) but has enough credibility in other ways to make the scenes believable.
Let's see... it looks like TD and GIL have created 322 statics and 13 animations in the 21 days since the last update - an average of ~107 statics and 4.3 animations per week. Overall, they are now averaging ~117 statics and 3.0 animations per week since Chapter 3 Update 3 was released. For those who prefer visuals, here are the charts:
TD said he's expecting a late May release. Based on the current trends, that would give us a static count roughly on par with Ch3Up3 and a ~20% increase in animations. I'd say that's plausible if we assume the exhibition (and character scenes) will be heavy on animations. Then again, it wouldn't surprise me if they're also heavy on statics given all the character scenes, so it's possible we might fall back into early June. It really depends on just how much material there will be in the exhibition. And hoping nothing crops up to slow down our devs of course.
Still, it certainly sounds interesting. I like the idea of fleshing out the activities at the Club, and big character scenes for my two favorite girls is an easy sell. So as much as I want to play this now, I'm willing to wait for it to be as good as possible. It's nice when a new release has a lot of material to sink my teeth into.
Of course getting my fix sooner is good too, so don't think you need to dawdle on my account, devs!
I am happy with this focus on some more Veronica scenes. She is lacking some when compared to the other main characters, but i get it why she is a slow burn when compared to the other carnations.
You can avoid various sex scenes, but not all thanks to the the central conceit of the story. Basically, the player character's participation in a weekly (sex) event is part of his job and the reader is railroaded into his begrudging acceptance of them to make the story's thematic elements work.
