He likes her in my game.Ha already disliked Kathleen alot that drugging didn't help her case, here hoping we get one or several over her in a future build.
with voyer path u actually get a better notion of what is goin on, and u get the notion MC is letting her lead on him. Not that he can do anything to stop her, but I dont think it would be simple has that.He likes her in my game.
That being said, I doubt he'll get one over on her. Not only is she incredibly powerful she also runs the show.
Considering the differing routes with regards to her, if she is taken down it will probably be by people like August.
This one I know, it's the one thing I was interested in originally.- This one is mainly to control my hype: Even though Pale Carnations is clearly a Sei Shoujo game, can I still expect some degree of romance, especially with Mina? I know this is far from a vanilla game, but I thought I wouldn't hurt to ask.
Good to know there will be some kind of romance though. I was initially worried mainly because of the genre of the game and the fact that I'm not quite sure what Mina role is in the overall story; she feels "too good/pure to be true". In a game like this, being pure could be quite dangerous. This one I know, it's the one thing I was interested in originally.
I don't know all the women that will be a romance option but I believe the contest girls will be, not sure about Hana or Harper or any of the others.
As far as romance goes that will build up over time. Relationships won't start until later with the contest girls having their relationship built up over the duration of that contest.
It's not a traditional romance but it will be in towards the end.
There are no true animations in Ch.1, that's why we never added the "animated" tag. What you got was basically a bonus. I was never an animator and I cannot commit the amount of time I would like to perfect them. That said, I tried my best to improve within those limitations. You'll be the judge.GIL3D Hey man i want ask you someting. With last update we have bad animations. You changed animation frame count and made them better or they are still same?
Not TD, but thank you for the props, it means a lot. This whole process has taught me a lot about studio work, and I'm still learning. I do pour my soul into every little detail and pull off insane work days, but it's all worth it with comments like yours. Regarding your questions, hmm what can I tell you... Welp, I know how the Mina storyline will evolve, and I consider it by far the most romantic and organic of them all. That much I can say. She is probably my favourite girl, both her and Hana are very dear to me.Hi there, TD1900
Sorry for taking your time, I just wanted you to know that I haven't been this excited about a visual novel in a really long time until Pale Carnations arrived. The amout of effort you've put into this game is simply outstanding. I can't believe you guys achieved that level of render quality with HS, I thought for sure you were at least using Play Home. Also, let's not forget about the writing, you managed to make the characters in your story feel alive, eveyone looks and acts in a different way; not every writer can do this.
Anyways, there are tons of positive things I would like to say about Pale Carnations, but I don't wanna come across as a fanboy or random creppy dude on the internet. I just wanted you guys to know you've created something you can be really proud of. I would choose Pale Carnations over many triple AAA games coming this year; that's how good I think it is.
If it's okay, I would also like to ask you a few questions:
- This one is mainly to control my hype: Even though Pale Carnations is clearly a Sei Shoujo game, can I still expect some degree of romance, especially with Mina? I know this is far from a vanilla game, but I thought I wouldn't hurt to ask.
- This one is quite personal so feel free to ignore this question: does your own game arouse you sometimes? I'm completely aware this sounds weird, but in the future I want to make my own erotic visual novel too. The thing is, I can never feel any arousal for the things I draw o write so I have no way of telling if what I'm doing could even be considered interesting by others. I was wondering how other creators deal with this issue.
Don't worry about the questions if you feel I'm asking for spoilers or if they are too personal. The main reason why I decided to make this post, in the first place, is just to let you know how much I appreciate what you guys created.
Thanks for lending me some of your time.
Best regards
First of all: thank you for the kind, polite words. I'm glad you're enjoying our project.Hi there, TD1900
Mina, Hana, and the three Carnations will all be romance options.- This one is mainly to control my hype: Even though Pale Carnations is clearly a Sei Shoujo game, can I still expect some degree of romance, especially with Mina? I know this is far from a vanilla game, but I thought I wouldn't hurt to ask.
While an odd question, it's actually one I've wondered about other devs myself. The answer for me is.... 90% of the time, not really.- This one is quite personal so feel free to ignore this question: does your own game arouse you sometimes? I'm completely aware this sounds weird, but in the future I want to make my own erotic visual novel too. Sorry I didn't include your name in my first post, I wasn't completely sure who else was a dev ( should have done some research). Still, my first post was adressed to every single person that is part of the dev team, obviously that includes you.Not TD, but thank you for the props, it means a lot. This whole process has taught me a lot about studio work, and I'm still learning. I do pour my soul into every little detail and pull off insane work days, but it's all worth it with comments like yours. Regarding your questions, hmm what can I tell you... I certainly wasn't expecting this answer, lol. I think it's great that you are able to enjoy your creations to this extend. In my case, I can't even draw a sexy character because I kind of become so invested in my drawings that I lose the ability too even perceive them as sexy; this is probably similar to what TD feels, I think.About your other question, it's funny, TD and I have talked about this a couple times, in-depth. In my case, 90% of the porn I consume is made by me, and in recent months it prominetly features these women. Even if I'm not partial to a girl or a particular kink, sooner or later every single scene I've worked on in this game has excited me to some degree. It is indeed a measure of "success" in my mind. But that's just my case and my opinion.
I'm actually kind of relieved to hear that Hana and Mina were, in a way, created to appeal to players like me. As I explained to GIL3D in my previous reply, part of me was telling me to prepare for the worst; I thought you had very dark plans for those particular characters. Well, even if that was the case, it doesn't change the fact that Pale Carnations is a top quality visual novel/game. I'm ready too see this story through.First of all: thank you for the kind, polite words. I'm glad you're enjoying our project.
Mina, Hana, and the three Carnations will all be romance options.
Mina and Hana in particular should scratch the itch of a more romance-minded player. Not to say they won't have their own share of kinky content, or their routes won't have dramatic turns, but their addition to the story during planning was because GIL and I wanted to round out the cast with some softer romantic options that would tether the player character to the world outside the club. Well, Hana is inside the club, but I hope you get what I mean. They're there to help potentially pull the player a certain way when it comes to deciding to stay or leave at the end of the game.
This is something I can relate too. When drawing a character in a sexy pose or writing a scene I can't really consider my creations sexy or arousing because I'm too invested in them. As you say, I can't help but pick it apart and analyze the parts but not the whole. I'm currently trying to figure out how to get past that obstacle and perceive my drawings for what I was actually trying to convey. While an odd question, it's actually one I've wondered about other devs myself. The answer for me is.... 90% of the time, not really.
The best reasons I could come up with for that is because working so closely with the material for hours on end, you don't really stop to smell the roses and it naturally loses some of it's novelty when you go back and read it. That and if you've even have a sliver of perfectionist desire, when you do look at the material casually, you can't help but pick it apart. For me, I get too hung up on the clunkiness of the language and start thinking about how I might improve it.
The 10% of the time that is exciting for me is usually before I start writing, when I'm laying out the scene in my mind and trying to come up with devious games, and when GIL gives me the latest batch of images that pairs with my writing.
I didn't want to assume but i'm so glad Hana is an option.Mina, Hana, and the three Carnations will all be romance options.
I'm loving ruining Mina & Kill's relationship and she's probably the only one I'd consider for romance in this.I didn't want to assume but i'm so glad Hana is an option.
The whole band thing and the conversation afterwards pushed her to my top girl list. She would have been top girl even if she couldn't be romanced which would have sucked for whoever I romanced after that.
How excited she got when the MC remembered Suzie Q's name, she just went all cinnamon roll and needs to be hugged.
