Thing has a nice turn, i still want to speak about felicia but first Victoria
Now about Felicia.
I wanted to respond to this for a while but I didn't have much time lately.
About Victoria, I'm not disputing her qualities as a mother or her love for Edwin. I'm just saying that it'd be a waste to not do anything more with her character after so much setup, especially since no other game has any similarly plotlines to Vicky's career without devolving into gratuitous incest plotline straight out of a cheap porno. I love this game precisely because it takes sadism, sexual degeneracy, porstitution and treats it with actual gravity. Those are real, fucked up, damaged human beings that unfortunately ended up es either predators or victims in the Club, and it remains to be seen where Edwin ends up.
My personal theory is that it Vicky's porn career wasn't nearly as necessary as Edwin thinks, and that Edwin's admiration of his mother "enduring" gangbangs and other acts is pure cope, simply because any other explanation would break poor Edwin even more. Notice that everytime a carnation appears to enjoy one sexual act or the other, Edwin rationalizes it as them putting on a brave face and going to their happy place, just like his mother did, because in his head it's impossible for a "good" girl to enjoy such acts. His mother being a degenerate slut instead of a martyr would shatter Edwins entire worldview, in which his mother is a beacon of light guiding him towards a righteous path.
Another interesting tidbit happens during Felicia's photoshoot, where Edwin can get angry over Felicia's cocky and dismissive approach towards the competition, because in his head she's spitting on everything his mother went through, and he basically hate fucks her until they're exhausted. It adds to my evidence about Edwin's cope, because of how angry he gets about Felicia's playful approach to the similar situation his "pure" mother went through.
Even during a good playthrough, Edwin is tormented by his sadistic tendencies, and how he enjoys putting the Carnations through the same hell his mother went through. The main fork in Edwin's path is wether he embraces his inner sadist, or if he finds a way to overcome his demons and "save" the carnations. Edwin's mother complex is the driving force of his character, and his character is far more damaged than he lets on.
As for Vicky sleeping with Ian, I just don't see that happening. Victoria is one of the few women Ian sees as a human being and is deeply ashamed about sexualizing her. It certainly helps that she's treated him more kindly than his own mother. Ian is also a much better friend than Edwin, because Mrs. Beaufort will most likely get dicked by Edwin before the story ends. Now, if Ian somehow found out that his precious Vicky used to bathe in cum for a living, there's no telling what effect that will have on him.
As for Felicia, I really like her as a character, but as a human being she's the least sympathetic out of the main girls. All her life she's been driven by greed and hedonism, and now that she's run into a problem that she can't fuck away or throw her husband's money at, she doesn't know what to do except getting back at her husband. I think she's found her consience too late, because giving up your indepence for a life of comfort is pathetic. She just found out that despite having a mansion, cars, parties, lovers galore, she can't actually do anything meaningful because she HAS nothing. I do kinda feel sory for her, but there are much worse fates than a lavish life and constant partying.
