I could still argue about the journalism specifics and newspaper/business tycoon dynamics in this case, but I don't want the topic to be carried away.
My main point is what Felicia is doing and she is most certainly ruining her husband's business reputation, his prospective political career (if he has any) and absolutely everything about her own life. Things like that cannot be hidden and can be used any time against both of them.
It's just very poor plot decision. I could buy it if she performed in the Club with her face covered by a mask under a fake name. But no, she openly declares from the stage that she is the wife of one of the richest persons in the town and after that immediately allows completely degrade herself to the level of the dirtiest pornstar.
I understand that some ppl may find it hot, but it looks so fake.
Fuck it, I'm so disappointed with this plot line. I initially found Felicia as a very interesting character, but this twist makes her just an awkward insert into the story.

The text pretty much addresses this: she's fine dragging Elias' name through the mud, and she's got her own ulterior motives / end game in mind beyond getting her rocks off. You can argue that's still stupid, but that's sort of the point. Felicia is pathologically hurling herself into the sun because complacency doesn't suit her.

Ruining her husband's reputation is a feature, not a bug. But Felicia didn't really know about the political career side of things when she started, she just figured his competitors would be laughing up their sleeves at him being cuckolded+, while she got her rocks off both by the competition and him not knowing.
I might understand that, but where Elias may have a few stains on his name her life will be completely destroyed. So yeah, it is still stupid.
I might imagine that she went completely nuts and decided to finish her life in a flame as a cheap whore instead of being a prize wife, but during the MC's visit to her house she is very afraid of her husband's reaction. So either she is a schizophrenic or her story is poorly written.
And I think you know yourself that "It is a porn game" is a poor argument
That's the biggest assumption of this game, that's what I'm talking about. That all the VIP freaks and staff members will keep their mouths shut forever for some reason.

Felicia is young (enough), hot, and if she blows up her too 'perfect' marriage, she could have a good excuse to get back into art. People desperately unhappy with their lives and situations frequently will self-sabotage to change the situations. It's not the best way of going about things, but it is very human.

Yeah, I don't think she's counting on him not knowing forever. This is all an elaborate way to blow up her life, but let her be in denial about it along the way.
Very funny. Being accustomed to a lavish life style she will trade that to a life of poor unrecognized art expert or whatever. Apart of having a reputation of a dirty cheap whore. I would rather believe that in that case she'll end up as one of the Club's house girls being freeuse for everybody.

On the top of what I said before, Felicia is such a waste of a good character. It's essentially a BDSM game. In the beginning she looked like a very powerful, extremely beautiful, highly experienced woman that was treating the MC as her personal fuck toy. That could bring a lot of interesting dynamics, not necessarily the MC being a sub, but a power play similar to that between the MC and Kathleen or Veronica. Turning Felicia to a cheap submissive thrill seeking whore is the most disappointing part of the game so far.

She's a thrill seeker. People will do very stupid, very self destructive things to get their thrills. Her actions can rightfully be seen as unreasonable, and she's probably not as smart as she (and the audience) thinks she is, but she's not unreasonable narratively.

If you're only halfway through the game at this point, keep playing and maybe your opinion of Felicia will change. I don't want to spoil it, but I will say that you will have the opportunity to see what's hidden behind the "cheap submissive thrill seeking whore" facade.
As I argued before, seeking the thrill she might perform in the Club under a mask and a fake name or secretly fuck the MC and his likes under her husband's nose. Openly stating her name and status to many people that know her husband just before being extremely degraded IS narratively unreasonable.

Sure, and I'm not going to argue with your interpretation of things. Felicia's decision to join the exhibition is written as inscrutable from Edwin's perspective, so someone reading it as illogical is fair game. I just wanted to highlight you were overlooking some details / prematurely bitching to save you from disappointment.
Felicia does a lot of things for the story.
For one, she is an expensive whore; that's the point. She got by on her looks and by placating rich men's ego. Somebody you'd see a photo of on social media and you'd instantly deride and dismiss as being vapid without second thought. In a game about power dynamics and selling yourself, she adds a perspective beyond those doing it out of desperation. She also helps paint Vicky's story in a distinct light, as the other Carnations do.
In regards to her relationship with the MC, she fill a teacher-role. The slut sage coming down from on high to teach Edwin her philosophy of hedonism, bullshitting about the hierarchy of needs as she enjoys being with someone who has less power over her. Or maybe has power over her thanks to the exhibition, and she's acutely aware of that?
There's also quite a bit of compare and contrasting between her and Kathleen, especially in how they encourage Edwin to let loose and be confident in who he is.
Point is, it's not nothing. It's just not what you narrowly expect from her character.
I just played the interview with her husband so I can imagine her motives. Still doesn't change what I said either about her being completely reckless or about her being a waste of a good character.
Felecia's story is a weird one but her motives a clear she is throwing her toys out of the pram because she didn't get what she wanted from her husband so she will hurt him where he values most his reputation whilst using her best and only commodity in her own estimation anyway to get the thing he didnt want to give her. Doing this she must know that very very likely possibility Elias finds out and she ends up a broke 30 sumn with no skills or qualifications now unable to live the extravagant life she's gotten so used to. I hope to see her sucking 20 dicks a week in my ending and still not being able to afford the restaurant she used to so casually eat at everyday and how this new life of hers truly lands with her the girl who spent her adult life social climbing.
I have my doubts though as the writers have chosen to depict her as a true "artist" so i follow she will continue like that till the end even though the artist felecia that Edwin has been getting to know over the last few months was killed by the goldigger decades ago and 30 plus year old people do not change. She is my favourite carnation but i think she will fall to my least favourite if the endings for her dont land right.

The thing about what you say is, you're largely going off presumptions and ignorance -- you don't know what Felicia's plan regarding her future actually is, so you are presuming that "completely running her reputation" is something that will be extremely damaging to her and something she for some reason completely overlooked... but neither has to be the case.
That's my point that it is the most likely outcome in this version of the story and that's why I feel that her initial impression of a sex sage (I agree with this definition) has ended in her bukkake sperm covered frenzy in the first week of the competion.
