Stubbornness is true for all 3, all 3 could have done something else.

I understand why Rosa don't want to rock the boat for her kid, by going to the cops about it. She justifies her actions, that this is the best for the kid. Get money, no cops involved.
Going as a carnation, is an very unreliable option as far as solutions goes (go big slut competition). Her loan-shark says as much: "shit if you are going to sell yourself out, we could have just worked something out between us".

Veronika is a born competition person, so I kinda get her view on it, tough it out for short time and win.
Naive as fuck as it may be.
Also Samson says he was lucky and like to oversell himself a little bit despite orchestrating of her demise.
She got fucked over by bad contracts that rolled over and was stuck from previous owner on her own. Extra bad luck rolled around with the air con going to shit and she needed to pay an arm and leg to get it fixed since it can't be open without it.
Or maybe sabotaged, we will see.

What an update ! Shed a tear for poor Vicky and of course I deleted the folder, I do hope we get to cuddle the poor woman and cuddle Grace to her grave too, in the next update.

Aside from this drama, the evening with Rose was very well done, it might make me hesitate with one more.... The LIs are so well written and amazing, I don't know which way to go honestly (I took litterally 20 min to decide whom to go in the concert...)

About Vicky, Ian just proved (if he is self-reflecting) that he is a true bro, even flawed as he is.

The concert in itself was just a load of fun, Gremlin Grace, try-the-pot Ronnie and innocent-Mina in a box, what an event

Eh. There's a lot of things that will sink a relationship, some more logical than others.

I know people who, on paper (similar ages, education, general affability) made a great couple and didn't last. I've experienced that myself. Then I know a dude whose been shacking up with a woman and her husband for a decade and, while I don't know what's going on behind the scenes, they inexplicably seem to be carrying on just fine.

I suppose it just depends on how narrow your definition is of a "healthy" relationship. Bottom line, if it's about longevity and happiness, then I would play devil's advocate and say that the only ingredients needed are respecting personal boundaries, supporting your partner(s), and a forthright desire to work to be together. Obviously it's more complicated than that because humans be humans and we don't even understand ourselves sometimes, let alone other people. Still... questions of monogamy, ambitions, desired trajectories, past experience, kids, differences in age between adult partners, tolerance for chewing loudly... those are details. Details that make or break a relationship, but aren't the same for everyone.

I want to believe, with enough grace, you can step over baggage. Or you might trip over it and land on your big stupid face. Every relationship is a crap shoot.

I can vouch for that too. Life is a bizarre thing, and every relationship abides by its own rules. While we take pride in considering ourselves rational people, or at the very least sensible people, motivations and drives differ drastically for everyone, and the laws of chaos seem to trump all. I'll relay a couple of personal experiences, knowing all too well that they shouldn't be taken as a general norm.

1. T. and R., best friends of my parents. They were born in the 1940s, so they were far from what you'd consider a modern, emancipated couple. When they started their relationship, they soon discovered that their sexual compatibility was lousy at best; however, they decided that their relationship was far too important to them to drop it only for sexual reasons. So they seeked, and found, a new partner each to satisfy their physical needs - with the full consent of the other. They stopped seeing their lovers only when they married and had their first born. All in all, they were one of the most tight-knit couple I ever knew.
2. My friend D. He hasn't had a lot of relationships - four tops, I think, and he never married. Well, his second to last relationship lasted twelve years. What happened? According to him, routine set in and one day he simply discovered he didn't love his girlfriend anymore. His last relationship, on the flipside, lasted only a year - simply put, he had a nervous breakdown mostly due to pressure from his job, and he decided he didn't have the strength to shoulder a relationship any more. Were these the only factors at play? Who knows.
3. My friend M. He's in a relationship with his girlfriend since 2010, and while he's not married, he decided to have two children. Well, unfortunately, they were both born with mild to severe autism - he swore he ran a DNA compatibility check with his partner beforehand, but apparently fate decided to deal him a horrible hand. Well, with all the highs and lows of his relationship (frankly I don't think his girlfriend is a very nice match to him), he's still keeping on. Is this a good thing? Again, who knows.

Three different relationships, three very different ways of expressing love, and three different meanings for it.
By the way, these differences are why I think the best storytellers are people that experience life in a multitude of forms and perspectives, directly or indirectly, through empathy and sympathy.
