I see your push direction and I never said that people are incapable of having feelings for several people, as you seem to think. It is simply that the whole complex of the game hints towards no longterm throuples.
Agreed on August being a typical pimp, but I doubt him being bothered by the Emma/Jacob relationship. We know from Hana that August regularly checks the security recordings. Emma and Jacob appear together in those quite often. Even Edwin, who rarely looks at the security feed, already saw the two couplely together in it.
August does not come across like an idiot, so he must know about their thing, since he watches the security recordings far more often than e.g. Edwin does.
I think August is not bothered by this relationship because Emma and Jacob are always there at work, unlike Kimber or Darius and Isla were.
Yes, we already know that Kath is pushing our hero towards Hana. I doubt she is pushing us towards Sophia as much, since she is clearly a rival for Kath

The last update is just the first half of a longer one: the developer have decided to split it in two parts since it was being too long since the previous update; 9 months if I'm not wrong. So we can say the updates come when they are ready.
