To be fair, there appear to be a lot of people that don't self-insert at all and treat it like any other type of porn.
Not to mention the post right above yours where the guy likes to roleplay as the chad, which seems a bit odd as you generally don't get to control the antagonists.

I agree that the characters here are basically caricatures but that seems to be fully intended and obviously works for some players.

I meant games in general not just wegs but most of these do aim to make you sef-insert too. It's core game design. Sure, some players choose not to but I would argue that in any game with even a tad bit of roleplaying element, they won't enjoy them to their full extent.

As I said above I find it impossible to do this with this game, not only beacause the two MCs are horrible but also because it's practically impossible with two protags. I can still have some fun looking at that trainwreck of a relationship so I'm not hating either, just not my fav type of game.

so this game is very well written
If you have that poor submission point you don’t want tha the relationship continue... so no Pandora’s Box = game over

as you know point system is shared between the 2 MCs

Part of that train wreck is the blackmail path. As soon as the MC bf completely submitted to the MC gf the blackmail had no more power over her. She even said she could fuck other people and the MC bf completely agreed to it.

But then the MC gf gets a delivery and does what the blackmailer tells her even though she knows the MC bf completely submitted to her and she wouldn't get in the slightest bit of trouble with her MC bf and the whole time she is doing it you can tell she didn't want to and was completely disgusted by it.

As soon as the MC bf submitted to the MC gf that should have ended the blackmail path. And mommy dearest wouldn't have had to sacrifice herself for the greater good.

Nope, the boyfriend can grow some balls, but he will be a cuck no matter what, and no matter if you do or don't do the corruption, the girlfriend will cheat on him, and the "best" friend of him will pay a hooker to blow the bf. And you cannot do anything to change that. If you looking to a classic love history, where you can try to keep both faithful....well, is not in this game. The dev only focus is in ntr, from this game, to the other.
