I kept hearing a lot of good things about this title, It's a shame its abandoned but can understand the reasons, it's a hard process trying to live of these with so many out there, I tend to support the ones I really enjoy once I catch up to their current version.

For those that have played this does the game stop at a frustrating part or are you semi ok where it ends, I still would not mind giving this a go but if it ends at a part that just screams I need to know what happens next then I am not sure if I could start it.

I am biased, but I feel confident in saying if you play it (and especially if you get through the first couple hours) you will enjoy it, with about 10 to 15 more hours of play time left to go. It is story driven, so you really can't fly through the text or you won't know what to do. Check the notepad in your bedroom if you get lost. It stops at the end of Act 1, wherein you (the player) are majorly clued in as to why everyone in this town is so "easy."

In my biased opinion, this has far more elements of classic adventure games than most games of this kind. There are multiple ways to solve problems (on many, but not every occasion) and your decisions will impact events, but no decision ever closes opportunities. All art and action can always be discovered, just not always in the same order. I had built it that way from the start hoping it would give players lots of replay value. Not sure many people really cared.

Finally, if you discover the UFO bit, the looping is not a bug. Pay attention! :)

Man, I wish someone else would design a game like this. lol I'd play the shit out of it. Anyone know any good, similar titles?

dude i really really liked this game alot lol, now that i have finished the chapter 1 i feel like an gonna miss this game cuz i liked the aspect of the mystery and all characters, am not sure if there will be chapter 2 but i really appreciate the work and story narrative in it, it was super good not many porn games just focus deep on mystery throughout the game but yea the creator did a great job *-* looking forward to your work even if it take 5 years lol

The Dev seems active enough on the forums, so unlike a lot of other devs that "poof" due to the war on ukraine, they seem to be doing alright enough.

Curious why you stopped working on Paradise Lofts.

And I just happen to be here today! We gave Paradise Lofts over a year to build an audience and it just didn't work out. I think it topped out around $550 a month?? Not much for the amount of effort and the cost of the art. I am thankful we pushed wrapping what we had into a Chapter One for Steam. That effort brought it up to break even and allowed us to see if we could develop the support there. As much as I would like to clean that game up and bring it to a close, it just isn't likely, though.

As an aside, I started cleaning up Irresistible Johnson a few days ago, so the gameplay will hopefully be much more breezy and fun. I did this for no other reason than just to see if I can. I don't think most players got deep enough in that game to get a gist of just how bananas it gets... and also, how much control a player truly has over everything. I don't intend to start a Patreon, so if I finish this, where would I upload and announce it for the masses?

Its a damn shame that this game got abandoned, the art style and story were good. The dev is also awesome.
