Is there anyway to infest or infect Joan without getting lots of detection?

Currently no.
For whatever reason, an alien lifeform secretly secured in a storage room that cannot be infected prior to their arrival, or during their time in that room, means that the Feds will continually get closer to discovering the MC and their activities once Joan's infested in any way, until she accepts them enough that her resistance is at/near 0.

It's been that way for far too long now, since it was a "Clinic detection" meter instead of a "Feds Detection" meter.

Every time I play this game after a content update it just seems to be another NPC added to the grind fest. I swear, with the amount of hours I've wasted of my life grinding this fucking game hoping that there's something new at the end of the tunnel I probably could have spent building a much better parasite fetish game of my own.

Once infested with a choker to allow mind control a "mind-fudge" option will appear. This allows you to set their behaviour, and thus thus reduce behaviour at an increased rate. Of course they have to be willing to 'fudge' with you in the first place.

I love the premise of the game, though I got detected really fast the first time through. The only thing that I feel like the game lacks (much like other games with step by step sex scenes) is eroticism within the sex acts. The descriptions of the parasites infesting you are often more erotic than the actual sex. Lilith's throne is like this as well, there atmosphere of the game is erotic as hell but the scenes I find less arousing (probably because of the whole being forced to interact during sex rather than having longer prewritten scenes [Like TiTs and CoC for instance])

That's because 3.11 was mainly a bugfix release. But the QoL improvement of the new inv icons does help a lot. That, alone, was worth my becoming a patron.

You don't "become strong enough". The victim becomes weak enough. Once their resistance drops to 40 you can force them to have sex. Once it drops to 30 or lower they will automatically jump on you.

It does legit bother me that they jump you after a certain point, especially since you're kinda becoming the new leader (or at least the body of the new leader... depending on your kinks I guess), like... I just came by for eggs/to add more eggs, get off.

Originally the game took place only on the ship, and with far more to explore and do.
There was even a threesome scene with the MC, Joan and another character, where the "top" role was decided between Joan and the MC, based on the MC's level of submission, and even had whomever was the dominant causing internal changes in the other through fucking them, and using their body to transmit the dominant's sperm into the person on the bottom.

I'd appreciate a download link if anyone has a version with this scene still in it.
