I dunno, sorta feels like it's dead or at least dying. He has had 10/15 forever, and then he makes posts explaining it's a really long scene or whatever, but it feels like he's just making excuses at this point. I feel like we've seen this before and it usually ends up in a dead game. I hope I'm wrong.

it's not a dead game. expect 2-2.5 month release times per update. he also only charges his patreon per major update so really there is no right to complain.
i hope as his resources continue to increase he decides to upgrade his equipment, go at this full time, or hire some help to speed things along. it's a great game with much potential.

i think this is more of a side hobby of his if I'm not mistaken and he has a full time gig.
he probably gets the occasional "what do you do on your free time" question if friends are asking why he's not always available to hang out. even then he could say he's taking on a programming job as a side hustle and call it a day.
some other devs have been more forward on explaining what they do, and have been met with surprisingly positive results (I think DeepSleep of Anna exciting affection comes to mind)
if it was me I'd keep it to the generic corporate-speak response and leave it at that.

It might be messy as hell if you have wife and young daughters yourself. I would rather admit that I'm into tentacle rape games than incest in that case. But people rarely care what stuff their friendly programmer is doing for living

i don't think so(at least i hope like you ahaha) he was hit hard by patreon,more than others it seems... and his game had a good success so i think we should just wait without making so many pressures,even if the wait is unnerving I admit it..

Yeah, nothing we can do but just wait. I really hope it's just the patreon thing and the holidays slowing him down, I'm just not entirely optimistic.
