So I never veer off a written walkthrough of a game because that seems like a bad idea and sometimes in this game's case, one choice could bork an entire run.

So I'm doing my Forbidden run and when Sofi moves in, you have the choice of Playing Along with her or Changing the Subject. The WT says play along for that ending so I saved my game and chose Change the Subject instead, wondering what would happen.

I'm pretty happy to know now it doesn't change the Forbidden ending. I always felt like an ass doing that to her after all the abuse she went through. I wanted to test the alternate choice today and it didn't change anything, so now I don't feel like a predator when it comes to Sofi, and since it's the only ending I like and the only route I play, I'm glad to know at least I don't have to worry about doing something I don't want to do to Sofi anymore.

It basically blends scenes from the Forbidden route with scenes from the Harem w/Sofi route, but it's pretty good, and in the end, the ending is still the intended ending I wanted.

I've found that not all walkthroughs are created equal. I was following a walkthrough for Long Live the Princess, and it led me to a less than ideal situation. I still got the main goals accomplished, but one of the relationships was strained because of the WT choices.

I still have to return to PL to get the remaining two endings. Pure husband and another I can't think of right now. The sister path was very easy!

Another scene would be MC hugging Elly after she gets her red hair...
WT tells you not to do it but you can without losing the Harem path....

Yeah I was always wondering about that one too. Good to know the WT isn't perfect though. I put a small post-it note in my WT pdf about the Sofi choice in the Forbidden run. I don't do the other endings anymore anyway but that's good to know.

No it's a dead quiet game. I usually have iTunes music playing in the background for this game and a few others that have no sound

Just download the patch from the thread's original post, install, and enjoy in all it's glory

Well, not totally sure about that, Sisterly Lust springs to mind. But it does it better than almost all other games, on that we can agree.

I was thinking about SL last night when this reference was made. I mean I never did the scenes for them in any of my runs but when I went through Lain's mod gallery and watched the scenes, they looked pretty, um, graphic, so yeah, SL certainly had the edge when it comes to that, if you're into that sorta thing I guess.

I always turned Elly down when I had the option here but even if I did them out of a curiosity place, I'd turn my head. Even the thought of it is just cringey.

Not a problem. I couldn't imagine playing this game without that patch. It's so much better with it. Probably pretty boring without it. I mean I've always had the patch, but I'm certainly not curious enough at all to see this game without it.

1) change the format of this file to .renpy
2) And place it at "ParentalLove-version1.0-pc \ game"
After that, it should work

I beg your pardon. I didn’t pay attention right away what do you have mac. I have windows. However, it may suit you too, because the patch from this site did not work for me on windows either.

The scenes with Ada seem to be "censored". At least that's what the black screen tells me every single time. Is that on purpose? Everything else is uncensored.
