I don't know if I'm being needy but can you change the mini game in the swimming tournament doesn't seem to be working for me can you just make it like tap faster kind of

You can just disable minigames with cheats enabled if i remember correctly if it really bothers you.

Got exactly the same issue. Save attached. I have not played for some time, so it is possible the issue is in that.
Not sure if you need more files than just this save.
