True. But he did say there was a catastrophic miscalculation on his part which caused a fire on sector-B, which coused the stabilisation feild of the Laboratory to fail because of a fire after his masters (Ancients) started combusting. But we shall see what the future holds


Tinkerer said that Demons (& Angels) take on different traits depending on the Deity they serve. Nergal's all look like stereotypical Biblical Devils/Demons (Succubu & Imps). He has mentioned that Angels who serve Qetesh would most likley be themed more around Greco & Egyptian-like creatures.

The 'generic' look of the Lesser & Greater Demons is more to do with their unaffiliated nature. They dont have a god they serve. Also Greater Demons look like juiced-up Xenomorphs lol

I have the same reply for you as for Domwolf & I forgot to mention, LOCO called the device used to stabilize the Succubus' egg a high-end receiver if I'm not wrong & there's a weapon he handed the mc that's called a photon blade which makes the both of them sound technological instead of magical

As I mentioned before I do like the more sci-fi/magitek like side of the Ancients. I just dont think they will be "Aliens".

Oh thats not the part I meant. LOCO is definitely the product of a technologically advanced race. What he may be incorrect about is that all intelligent lifeforms were created by his masters,perhaps altered or even experimented on maybe. Kinda blows the whole gods existing thing outa the water and just because one charachter stated it in a throwaway dialogue doesn't mean its supposed to explain everything about the game world.

Erevi did say (waaaaaaaaay back) that people beleive the Ancients were gods that walked among mortals. So them being the precursors who created the races make sense if that's the case. The Energy Plane is ruled by gods & Tinkerer has said that Deities in this setting are essentially just really powerful natives of the Realm. Imagine if a particular Demon or Angel managed to gain a following of people, their worship & belief in that being would feed their power over the realm. As the following grows, so does the deitie's powers. Soon they can start to REALLY affect the Material Plane & are able to create a domain for themselves in the Energy Plane where other beings will congregate around/serve them. As people forget/stop worshipping particular Deities they start to lose that power over time. That's why Qetesh is so weak after 20 years of not being worshipped. Shes not forgotten but shes not being fed power either. Which is why she is withering in strength but MC is making sure to fix that with the re-opening of the Temple.

Now on one hand we may find out that the Ancients succeeded & are in fact the gods. But what we know of the Ancients & what Tinkerer said about the gods makes me beleive they are not the same things. Deities are just Energy Plane natives that have gained power through mortal worship. Kinda like a symbiotic species in a way

I dont think the Ancients are aliens. In fact I think they are probably this worlds version of "Humans" (as in they were the original sapient lifeforms of the World). They created the "lesser beings" (humans, elves, dwarves, goblins, orcs, ogres, giants ect...) in their experimental pursuit for immortality (this actually explains why these races can interbreed with each other beyond just "fantasy/magic" rules). Also he said they "disappeared" not that they "left" which has me beleive that something went VERY WRONG in their experiments & like most precursor races in most setting are probably all non-existent now.

Personally I like the slightly Sci-Fi/magitek vibe going on with them. I have often said that magic is just highly advanced science we're yet to understand. Example: Erevi says it's a "Rod of Duplication", while LOCO gives it some sci-fi sounding jargon name (I forget right this second) & if you think about it a AI is just another form of Construct. But I think if he does add an Ancient, & it does look like an Alien... it might be TOO Sci-Fi for this fantasy game. I dunno I could be wrong but might feel out of place.

Theres also the possibility that LOCO is wrong or at the least misinformed. This has been hinted as not being the whole story.

An interesting theory I do hope we learn a little more about them but not too much as I like the mystery that's surrounds them.

I think the Palladium style vibe of the gods being an extra-dimensional race that gains power from worshipers is likely the direction this story will take. Also having a Mynar/Valar relationship with the ancients is also very interesting and holds up to the Hints that LOCO doesn't have the full story.

This also gives credence to the MC being blessed by both as though perhaps his mother served one and his father in his youth perhaps served the other. I don't agree with some theories that either god is his parent but that he's descended from a servant of both would mean our bastard-born peasant farmer hero is actually similar to your succubus/devil daughter. Which makes all the breeding he's been doing in the area both relevant and hilarious!

Also wanted to thank you folks for engaging in this lore discussion. It reminds me of the ones we used to have on the discord with tinkerer chimming in every so often and helped the game feel more fleshed out. Now the server is full of psycho incels with need to angrily declare the tainted nature of one particular clearly kinky and by canon slutty dark elf priestess, as well as freak out if any NTR exists even as a joke or some attempt to clearly define a different culture... these fucking guys....

Personally not a fan of NTR. If the game has unavoidable NTR I will. Even better if I can just turn it off. But even I understand the difference between someone stealing a girl from MC & things like sharing/or dark comedic "rape" (looking at the Werewolf). If it's too much NTR then I just... dont play the game. I think you're right. I think these poor lonely incels NEED to use the MC as an extension to live out their fantasies & the second the girls bang another guy? Well that shatters their delusions

The dragon cannot lay eggs yet so... have u used Enhanced Fertility to make sure shes preg, then collected the Gem after 5 days?

Some pregnancies (usually just the 1st ones of each female) has a trigger point for when they 1) can happen & 2) will end which are connected to other plots. Sometimes u cant just wait days for something to change u gotta go do more quests to move stories along. Once you get into the understanding of the questline the game is actually pretty strate forward. But not all games are for everyone & the early WT is riddled with confusion I'll admit but it's been ironed out in the later editions.

I don't think you have to go that far. Of course it does depend a lot on the setting, but I think for some actual NTR simply kills the good mood, especially if it happens unexpected. That's most likely the reason why people tend to get upset if they weren't warned when they started playing.

Given that many people seem to play these games to relax and to have a good time, it's kinda understandable that they don't want to deal with these kinds of settings, unless it actually enhances their experience.

Yeah, I wasn't really talking about this game, honestly, but about actual, real NTR (not sharing, netori, etc.) in general. Of course there are many who are objectively too sinsitive when it comes to these issues.
