Tinkerer, If you are seeing this - I want you to give purpose to the kids like you did with Rosy's kids.

I was thinking of this idea of making a tower defense system like plants v zombies with the gobbos/children substituting the plants, You use them to defend the temple against whoever wants to..... destroy it I guess.
If it really doesn't work for the temple, we could definitely implement it for the goblin clan.

I know the limitations with RPG Maker but it seems somewhat doable as I'm seeing some tutorials floating around(just google/youtube rpg maker plants vs zombies) on the subject.

IMPORTANTLY why do we need a system like this? you might ask. What wrong with the current combat system? As Tinkerer said in his latest post with more children we need more money/resources to feed them and such. Now you see the gameplay loop gets harder and tedious as you have more children and of course we will balance this out by tuning the amount of resource it takes for a child and putting a cap on number of children you can have but it is no fun(ALL WORK AND NO BREEDING MAKES ME A DULL BOY). With the current combat system if you have more than three people with you it gets tedious(click. click. click..).

With the proposed system you can take any number people into battle with you and more will become merrier and It will also be effective to cull(they die in battle) the number of children as we are using them like unit/resource to progress in the game(SO MORE BREEDING BABY...) and having sex will become a more important part of the game.

Here is a basic design of the system for the goblin clan:

This event will automatically trigger at regular interval(7 or 8 days) after player becomes the king of goblins. This would require the goblin's pregnancy cycle to be much faster and would need many goblin breeders. It makes sense since goblins depend on breeding for survival(more gobbos good). The game difficulty will be increased progressively and the number of days takes to trigger next level should decrease to 4 or 5.

The number of enemies will increase for every level and after a certain level new enemy types will be introduced.
Now we need new goblin types to fight this increasing level of threat. So, obviously we need different goblin factions(I remember a game called goblin burrow with various goblin types that are really cool) with their own village which we can invade(which is same as defending gameplay but reversed) and acquire the queen or princess of the clan as our new breeder just like the second goblin girl(don't remember the name).
Invading takes multiple levels to complete and at end of each level cutscene for the backstory and characters of the village will be included(that sweet.. sweet.. lore). the story for particular queen/princess will also continue after acquiring her.
(There is also the option that instead of having various goblin type we could have various monster types altogether but, more work I guess)

Using the queen/princess in battle will be important as increasing their level/xp will increase level of the offspring they create. queen/princess should have more special attacks than the regular units. The enemies could also have special types with special attacks like our queen/princesses.

The gameplay will be really similar to plants v zombies. You create a line up of your best gobbo from all the gobbos you have created and take them into battle. You select them and place them on the grid and they perform their attack(projectiles, meele, area damage, heal, block, etc.) that is specific to their type. You kill all enemy you win. All of your unit gets killed you lose and you either try again with different strategy or make more units or go after a type of gobbo queen/princess that will help you win the battle. The battles should NOT pass the time in game.


This will be quite a lot of work but, I believe it will all be worth it.
I don't want to come off as a hypocrite because I've made my fair share of "list of requests" to Tinkerer (see here and here) but I have to say that what you're asking for here is a bit ridiculous for numerous reasons:

Like I said, I don't want to come off as a hypocrite by criticizing someone else's lists of requests to Tinkerer when I've made so many of my own, but I think there is a fundamental different between my own lists linked above and your own post.

My lists ask for things that I believe would enhance/improve the game that Tinkerer is already making.
Whereas your post is asking Tinkerer to create an entirely different game from the one he's currently making.


Hope this all doesn't come off as too mean cause I can see that this is your very post, although your account is actually quite old (older than mine by about 2 months).

I can also see that you really like this game and are passionate about it.

But I think I speak for most players when I say in response to all the requests made in your post:

its not personaly agiasnt you but also reminder for other people

like amount of non-patreons request him to go to subscriber due less rules for incest content.
but people forget that he himself decides what will be added/made for the game.

some just forget pay to support =/= tell him what to do / force him to make stuff

I'm a Patreon, and the only reason I suggested subscriber is because I've seen some creators us both patreon and subscriber.

You don't seem to like the idea of goblin kids dying but I want to mention it happens in PQ itself already. They are goblins, that's how they survive.

I would also like to disagree on the part where you said it will have very little payoff. How many adult games have you played with default RPG maker's combat system, just all of them and they are boring and tedious many times. I think many people would like to have actual gameplay of some kind even if its not tower defense.

I sincerely suggested it for PQ is because most of the setup(story wise) for creating this is already there - goblins, their home and a way to increase their number and only tower defense mechanic is missing. It would be a breath of fresh air to just having default combat systems.

For your last point, I agree it would take the focus away form other girls in the world. I don't have much of a argument against this besides goblins have a lot of potential and they are fascinating. I love any new interpretations of goblin behaviors and it doesn't seem to get boring at all. So, obviously I would love more goblin content, that's all.

And finally, I just like to see what people are doing. So, I just lurk around and don't really participate because I don't have much to share. That is why that was my first post despite being on the platform for years.

in my eyes there is no payoff for you idea, special the amount of Hours/days/weeks it takes to make and test before can be used propper. Gold isnt a game issue after becoming mayor, or having some goblins (special if you have the farm making pumpkins and sell those. Secondly most people dont care for it, they want to be rushing through the game, lots of people cheat engine their MC, ( and fuck up their game with 99 items or event triggers . so be warned) so 1 shotting enemys is like a 5 second encounter instead of full battle of Tower defense.

(lots of people even dont want to play the game unless its a VN due they dont want to grind or put in effort )

Can fully understand your love for the game and want to see more of it and become even bigger game. but keep it simple, the core is porn and some kinks like pregnancys so very wide Battlesystem isnt needed. If it was normal RPG without porn i can stand by your idea.

I don't want to comment on technical side of things just because I haven't touched RPGM in like a decade but, I do use Unity and Godot almost everyday. A simple tower defense system for a top down pixel art game could be prototyped in a week and polished in a month and all there will be left is to add content.

I also want to add that I don't expect Tinkerer to add anything I suggested into the game. Me directing my first post directly to Tinkerer is still just a suggestion and I was more curious to see what the people would think, that's all. Thank you for the feedback.

I'm not sure if this would be worth adding to PQ BUT it's a good idea. Personally if u have plans to make a game like this yourself (when u have the time) I suggest u do so & keep the idea to yourself for now. Could be really interesting g to see such a game & as u said there isnt really any "Goblin Tower Defense H-Games".

In your original post, you heavily implied that we could have non-goblin kids dying during tower defense in order to then have more kids with the non-goblin women.

I was saying that most players (myself included) wouldn't really be up for having non-goblin children die off in the game.

The reason why I say that your ideas would have little payoff for both the developer, Tinkerer and the playerbase is because most players don't come to Peasant's Quest in order to play a tower defense Plant vs. Zombies game.

Most players come to play a basic rpg game.

You'd be surprised how many players use cheat engines so they can 1-hit all their opponents or how many of them ask for full saves rather than take the time to play the game themselves.

The truth is that most players wouldn't really be interested in or entertained by the mechanic you wish to introduce.

In addition, if you really like goblins, I'd suggest a couple of goblin centered games such as:
  1. A Goblin's Tale - Link
  2. Goblin Layer - Link
  3. The Goblin's Brides - Link
  4. The Last Goblin - Link
  5. Grolokk - Link
All of these should do a great job of scratching your goblin itch.

Although they'll leave your desire for a Tower Defense game mostly unsatisfied.


In the end, like I said before, you seem to be very passionate about this game and that's always great to see.

It's just that if you want my honest feedback then here it is: most players wouldn't be too thrilled to see your requests come into fruition for this particular game.

But having all of this in your own game could be really fascinating to play.

The whole design is for goblins though. I guess when I mentioned the temple I confused it for you and probably myself. It would hard to have human kids in this design because they take so long to grow up. If we want humans to be in battle, we would probably need a injured-out of battle/ revived after battle kind of thing and cap how many kids a women can have. Other than goblins I was mostly thinking of other monster types that MC could find along the way for this design to work.

Whats with the goblin fetish? i dont understand how people like those little buggers. I hate ugly smuck goblins,dragon lady and that old hag magdha. Game 'd be far better if they focus more on elves ,humans.

Dude you obviously can't see how gorgeous the female goblins are in the game & Maghda's an ogress which explains her warty looking skin & she's far from being an elder

As the head of the goblin fanclub on his server all i can say is, you can like and dislike what you want but doesnt make your more right than other person. TheGrandMasterCory was responding to other person who wanted add a feature for the game what has to do with the goblins so that is why he said those things.

personaly no fan of elves, bunch of treeloving know it alls so everbody got their thing they want to see added to the game.

Dungeon Master catharsis i think it was called,but i think it was more like,"want some family content?no problem,but on my terms"but even so,all the situation fitted very well into that reference,so i must say,he didnt wasted the bullet,although i must say,i wasnt really ready for that,his game always stroke me as a happy go lucky style,and out of nowhere he goes full"Strugle with Sin"(one game i miss playing but that would never run on my joyplay)
