What is the different between v0.21.1 and v0.22? Are they the same thing cause on the changelog, it says v0.22 but on your no music audio ver, it says v0.21.1?
Do you also have a no music version of your latest update v0.23.1 on your Patreon page?
Getting this error msg when trying to open the game: "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'id' of undefined at r.makeMutable"? Anyone knows how to solve that issue?
The older version did work but not this one, it frustating that I have to restart from the beginning to make it work again and I cannot even be sure if I bought the access to the patreon ver, its even going to work or will have to start over again...

The version v0.22 is a leaked version that I didn't approve for public release, while v0.21.1 is a fork without the v0.22 content updates but with some bugs fixed. Honestly, there's not a huge difference between the two but the leaker didn't pirate all of my different builds for v0.22.
For patrons-only builds I put out the latest stuff I've got every month, which means it's the most up to date with content but may be buggier because while I test things myself as much as I have time to, that doesn't substitute for actual player testing and I rely on people to play it a bit and report bugs that I wasn't aware of. For that reason the public version is always a bit more stable, because I wait until I've got a pretty stable version before giving it a public release.
Yes, I do Win 64 (normal & "no music"), Win 32, Mac 64 and web browser builds, along with instructions for how to easily patch a windows version to run on Linux.
Is that happening just when you start the game up? (Or maybe on loading a saved game?) Does it prevent you from running the game altogether?
It looks a bit like one of the scary "mystery bugs" that come from the engine code rather than my programming, but I can't be sure without a little more context.
Based on that it sounds like it might just be a broken save? That will happen with version updates sometimes, I'm afraid. The game is non-linear and designed for multiple runs through anyway, so I've designed two features in to ease the process, particularly during this early access phase:
1) When you start a new game you can skip the intro (taking you straight to the apartment on day 1) or you can get an accelerated start (taking you to day 7, just before Emi, Nobuko and Shizu's sex scenes).
2) The game saves persistent memory about what you've seen in the game and if you turn on the "scene skip" funtion in the stats menu you will speed through stuff you've already seen. For sex scenes you're usually given a prompt of whether you'd like to skip it or not, though, just in case.
By the way, if you ever pay for the Patreon version and it doesn't run for you then you should ask me for a refund; I'll be happy to provide it.
It won't stop you from getting a harem ending, don't worry. (Although I should note the harem ending isn't done yet.) It's basically entirely optional either way.
What are the conditions to trigger Hirai interactive sex event with Shizu after unlocking her sex scenes? How many times does he have to date her or is that not implement yet?

Hi BBen, I've finished Day 21 with both EMi and Nobuko but I still can't find the Third and get stuck. I got eaten in the end. How can I get past this and win the game?
To the first question, there isn't one implemented yet. While I imagine there will probably be a Hirai/Shizu/Shuji interactive scene sooner or later, I don't necessarily want to be locked into making the same scenes for every character, as that can lead to lazy or uninspired designs. I tend to wait until I have a good idea for a scene before making one.
Shizu's ending won't be the next update, no, but that is one of my higher priorities, so it should happen reasonably soon. Endings are a fairly big project, usually, and again they're quite important, so I need to be sure I have a good plan for them and they constitute a major update (but I just did a major update introducing Mika and now I'm taking a short break for the end of the year).
Mika is a new game+ character; if I end up adding any more women to the harem then they would also be new game+, but I won't guarantee that they're coming because that's a big development commitment and I need to keep my options open. I'd like to do it eventually, but it depends on things like whether the code will still function the way I want it to (despite bugs in the engine that have been a real issue) and whether I've still got enough support for the project at that point.
So, you know, we'll see on those big commitments (adding a new character is a huge one, because they've suddenly got to have relationships of some kind with everyone else in the group - that's exponential growth!) but for now I've got a lot of cool new features coming up soon anyway. Shops, finishing Shizu and Mika's main content, adding in more fun side scenes and Hirai content, as well as the big "beach day" event.
You've found the endings as they exist at the moment. The game isn't going to truly have its conclusive ending until the harem ending is complete - for now you could think of each branch of the story as a different chapter on the way there.

The way I like to develop these games isn't according to a really strict plan; it's basically to continue to build out side content while I'm gradually working through the main path. The "planned" NTR stuff, at least for Shizu, Emi and Nobuko is actually kind of already in the game, but there will be more as I come up with new ideas. I've got a few partially developed already and I've been thinking about new approaches to work more content in. Basically, I think my best scenes tend to be the ones that just pop up organically because I have an interesting idea one morning and then spend a quick couple of days making it.
As for the second question, I suppose you're thinking of the idea of lesbian NTR like you mentioned in the PAL thread? I don't know; I don't currently have any real plans for that, although there's kind of a sub-plot about Emi and Kumi in there already. Maybe not quite as much as you'd be looking for, but I think it's interesting, at least.
EDIT: I should probably add that I do have a plan for where the main beats of the story and characterisation are going; but I like to keep the development fluid and allow myself a lot of room to change things and develop new ideas.
Thank you for saying so; honestly I tend not to think about consciously adding a defined kink for the sake of including it, so much as just trying out character concepts that I think might work, which is probably why I usually dip only lightly into most kinks. Of course, to some extent the scenes also have to suit the story, Patreon rules and my own personal tastes, so some stuff is ruled out and other stuff - well, it could happen, but it depends a bit on my mood.
I agree. Personally, Hirai doesn't do anything for me. He's attractive...ish? I guess? What I liked about Hiroshi is that he truly corrupted the girls. In this game it's a bit more unclear, are the girls okay with it cus you're giving them the OK? Are they doing it cus they're cheating? Do they find Hirai attractive or something inbetween, because I find it a little bit hard to believe that as his character feels like a strange mixture of a "bro" and the corrupting Hiroshi, which comes out like a watered down version of it to me.
There's like this strange see-saw between NTR and sharing that's going on in the scenes at the moment which ticks neither box. The nice thing about dominant sharing is that the third person feels like a masturbatory tool. The NTR in PAL had the voyeurism aspect which was interesting as it presented the "behind closed doors" behavior where you could see the slutty maid let loose. I guess there's supposed to be implied NTR in the DP scene with Emi, but once again, tip-toeing the line.
I understand that this is an early build but I want to get this out earlier rather than later, Ben. I absolutely adored PAL.
Edit: That being said, what do you find arousing Ben? You should be making a game with fetishes you like or feel strongly for, I think.
Not a fan of Hiroshi tbh. I cheated just to avoid him. BBen's games are good but every fucking game has him .
Throwaway7777 Well, there has to be a gradual progression that emerges over time for it to work the way I'd like it to and that involves slowly feeling out as a writer which directions things will go. Without giving spoilers I believe there will be more possible progression in the kind of way you want it to go, although the character will never be a carbon copy of Hiroshi. As a writer I find the biggest problem is in finding he has to be too much like Hiroshi, rather than too little, so I've been trying to feel out where the story lands in a natural way, but I think I have some interesting directions to take it from here. Hiroshi took a long time for me to figure out too, really.
Fair enough, though you don't actually need to cheat to avoid him; the content is optional.

So what do I do if I'm stuck on the loading screen? Should I wait until you fix it or is there a solution? It's an alright game so far, excited for the NTR scenes but the loading screen has hindered me.
Occasionally, when a new scene is loading, the loading may break and seem to simply be taking forever on a black screen, generally when trying to load the apartment. I know it's frustrating - it is for me too. Unfortunately this is because of a memory leak issue in the audio code used by the engine, not an issue in my own code, therefore there is no simple fix I can make for it. It doesn't happen on most systems, only a minority, and it doesn't have anything to do with how powerful the computer is - I just can't predict whether you'll get the problem or not. I have been working to try and find workarounds for the issue, but in the meantime my best advice is to download the alternative "no music" version, which is designed to reduce the effect, although it may not eliminate it entirely.
