Nobody is preventing you from playing the older versions. They've been posted repeatedly in this thread.
Let me guess, you'd tell Patreon to go fuck themselves, be put out and lose all your income?
I'm sure such a sacrifice would make ripples among the porn game industry.... Your game being a martyr and spurring Patreon to finally re-think their policies that they themselves didn't make.
It's totally worth losing your income, screwing your life over, making it almost impossible to update the game (since you'll have more important matters to attend to, like paying rent/food/etc), finding alternative employment and spending more time working on an actual job instead of the game, and losing a larger chunk of the entitled portion of the "fanbase". You know, because you decided to be impulsive trying to prove a point instead of taking a calculated move that'll see yourself in a position that'll let you get back to what you were doing, get paid again, and also open up new avenues for content that you can write without constantly wondering if Patreon will fuck you over the bench again.
But proving a point to Patreon will really be the better option. I'm sure they'll lose tons of money over a porn game being taken down...

Not a developer, but someone who pays attention to the development and has common sense. It's not hard to read a few pages back here and there if it's been a while since you've played something. Especially if you have a problem with the direction.
At one point in time, all there was to make money from a game like this was Patreon. Things like SubscribeStar didn't start becoming all that popular a platform until much later (like within the past year or so). Hindsight is 20/20, but you might need some glasses.

I dont think they get paid enough to be using game revenue as life income. This likely isn't their day job.

For the last few months, I've been working on a system to build out paperdolls/avatars semi-automatically using HoneySelect. This is for another game I'm planning out, not specifically for Perverted Education.
That said, I needed to test my work before committing to that project, and given my previous experience with development in this project, I thought the best way to do this would be to create an avatar for Perverted Education. (It wasn't)
So, here it is.
This required a lot of work, especially around designing all the clothing items in PE (did not anticipate that when I started...).
Some notes about this release and what you can expect change wise
As this is based off the latest version, and there isn't really any story or structural changes any bugs undocumented features are likely due to that base version, not my mod... That said, any issues or feedback please let me know.
You can download this here, simply extract over the base game, it will add new images and provide a new .html file to run, so you can run both side by side without issues (saves should be compatible too, provided they're both the same base version 1.2101).

- This is based off version 1.2101, the incest/hypno/NC version.
- The only visible change, initially, is a change to icons in the menu on the right, simply because the names wouldn't fit anymore. The clown icon will open the new avatar.
- Other than the avatar itself, and the thumbnails in the wardrobe and mall, there are no further changes made.
- This is in no way related or linked to the existing avatar system, 100% separate, which is why it gets it's own icon.
- There is over 12,000 images in this release. This is due to all the different clothing options and body options possible.
- This is in no way related to any official development of PE

i think you forget how many games there are
and there are many other artist and story writers
even music + many more
+ and don't hang me up on this but i think it's steam there own patreon
and that's a reason there are coming all those restrictions the last couple of years

Not talking about music, artists and other games, talking about this one. But even if it a generalization of a game developer saying fuck you and your restrictions and becoming the martyr, I'm pretty sure, that a small percentage of developers are using Patreon as their only source of life income. Especially considering most of them, have a public free version that gets released. And I'm not talking about ones posted here where everything free. I mean most devs don't make you pay for their games. As in they release actual public versions. Peeps here are impatient, they always asking for updates, but wait a couple of weeks and an update will come for everyone. You don't release things for free, if its your livelihood.

True, but if you take note of some of the people working on the game, they work on others in the same sphere as well. While one game might not be enough to make a meaningful income, contributing to multiple big titles definitely would. Once you take a good chunk of that away however, then you quickly run into problems.
