If I remember correctly, once you extract the game there is another zip folder. You have to extract that folder too.

In other words, you have to extract the game twice.

I've created an archive with the folder on my pc, run the .exe in the zipped folder and the message it's the same of your screenshot.
Like @bmpb86 already wrote, you're tryin' to run the game from a compressed archive.
i only saw 1 folder

910 MB is nice, but why stop there? :winkytongue:

In the process of porting the game to Android, I made a 566 MB version, and I honestly can't tell any quality difference between it and the original.

After getting the Android version down to 290 MB (at 720p instead of 1080p), I went ahead and compiled a 720p PC version as well.

So if anyone is really tight on bandwidth/storage, here are a few more options:

- this one should look just as good as the original
- this one will be noticeably lower quality, but still decent
- unless you've got a device with a screen > 12" at > 1080p, this should look great

Minxy, your fans compressed your game and made it more compact for users and for android users too. I would recommend working with them on that, at least you deliver them game earlier and they will help you downsize it for future patreons? What do you say? Good plan? I mean, even patreons will be glad if you offer them different sizes of the game they love so much.

Another great update. It might be short, but the quality is amazing, how many games you see around here with that amount of renders per scene? Very detailed and well done.

I prefer this over a monthly update with 3 renders per sex scene.

and ive wish ive seen this before downloading 1.9gb size of the pc version

Can I ask you, sir, how difficult it was to make an android version, just out of curiosity...? and how much did it take (of time) to make?

Curious, changelog says two erotic scenes and one sex scene, but there's no sex scene I can find, only the blowjob. I don't personally consider a blowjob as sex, but is that supposed to be the sex scene?

"Difficult" is pretty relative to someone's skillset. I guess it wasn't too difficult for me, but I've got a pretty decent background with programming and image editing (even though I'm still pretty new to Ren'Py and Python).

It also varies from game to game. Ren'Py makes it very easy to actually create an Android port of a game, but Ren'Py on Android does have a few small differences from Ren'Py on desktop, so having it work correctly on Android isn't always as easy.

If a given game is just a simple VN, with dialogue and choices that you have to make with choice buttons, it's really pretty easy. But if a game tries to do anything more complicated, it can mean a lot of small edits to the code to get it to work on Android.

Even if there aren't any edits you need to do to get the game to work right, there are almost always some small tweaks that should be made to the default UI layout for small screen devices - making sure text is big enough to read (but doesn't get cut off), making sure buttons are easy to tap, etc.

That was probably either way too much information, so the tl;dr is it's very easy to create an Android port of a Ren'Py game, but it's not always easy to make it work the way it should, and it can involve a lot of fiddling with images and code, which can get pretty tedious.

Here are some command cheats if anyone cares.
As you go through and meet new characters and get to new sections, save variables become initialized and are ready to edit in the command console and all the variables are:
(# is number of your choice)

Eliza_Points += #
Eliza_DepPoints += #
(Dep may mean Depravity idk, She experiences negative consequences with points)
Mum_Points += #
Shopping_Points += #

Even if you fuck up all the choices you should still have the points however some flags wont change

Just played through this latest version, and there are some really nice situations in here, although the MC is being blueballed hard until the end. I like that the sexual situations are long, with many renders and detailed. Also, I dig the proactive girls, although they come on very hard.

Although I have to wonder why there are so many choices, because they don't seem to matter. You are mostly unable to avoid sexual situations. I tried not having anything to do with the sisters (don't put your dick in crazy, wise words), but that didn't really work for me. I could have avoided the showers with Eliza, and the bikini choice is supposed to be based on points, but even though I had minimized my sister/twins points, I was able to choose all three. A bit more choice would be nice, for instance allow the player to avoid the masseuse by taking a bath in his room, and just walking away from the stranger in the spa when she starts being weird. Player agency is important, imo.

Also, why are there so many rooms (spa, jacuzi, massage room etc) to choose between when there is only one room you can go to at any given time?

I nitpick a bit. It's a porn game, and an enjoyable one at that.
I agree there is a lack of player agency... The game is still in its early development so that's what the many rooms are for! I will consider more choice options!

I took the time to fix a bunch of misspelled words, although there are still probably quite a number of wrongly phrased sentences, I don't have the time or patience to scroll and read through 11k lines of script, if you want to have a better reading experience while playing this game you can download the script.rpy file

Edit: The file goes in PervertedHotel-1.3-win\game
This is really good! It's a bit of trouble to check the mistakes I have made and apply them in my game though. Also I use a "dialogue prose" when I write for the game so there is bound to be grammatical errors

Make another file in the ".\game" directory (where "gui.rpy", "options.rpy", "screens.rpy", & "script.rpy" are), name it "whatever_you_want.rpy", and put whatever code you want in it.

Ren'Py will load code from any .RPY (or .RPYC) file in the ".\game" directory, so you can split it up however you want into however many files you want.

If the story is fairly linear, some people will split each day into its own file - "script_day1.rpy", "script_day2.rpy", etc

If it's more of an open world kinda deal, they may split it based on locations - "events_beach.rpy", "events_city.rpy", etc

Just whatever makes sense to you, really. The idea is that instead of having to search through 100,000 lines of code in a single file, you know what file to go to based on what bit of code you're looking for, and then you'll maybe only have 500 lines of code to look through.


On a different note, I'd suggest maybe thinking about how many images you're currently using. The game has almost 3,000 HD scene images. Sounds great initially, but more isn't always better.

I've noticed that (for the most part) you have one image for each line of dialogue, and a character's expression or pose may barely change from one image to the next. Sounds and looks kinda cool in theory, but that's more images for you to render, and it's more used storage space.

I'd suggest one of two things:
- Either cut back on the number of images, only using a new image if someone's pose or expression needs to totally change - Or split the character and the background into two separate images. One with JUST the background, no character, and another (usually a PNG with transparency) of just the character, no background. You can layer the character over the background, and the end result looks identical, but you can reuse the background image for as long as the scene stays the same, only changing the smaller character image when necessary.

Or both. Separate character + background images, and only changing the character image when a significant pose/expression change takes place.
Oooo That gives me an idea! I can compress the images for dialogue and less important scenes ! Thanks for the suggesting for splitting scripts!
