If the dev wants to reward people based on their contribution, it's totally up Minxy. I see no problem with Minxy wanting to give back to top supporters. If you feel like a second class citizen, maybe it's a you problem and has more to do with self esteem or self worth. Patreon is about supporting the developers, if you want to become a patron, do it, if you can't afford to, you can't afford to. It's not like everything doesn't always end up on the shores of this pirate's cove anyway, now is it?

Ahhh lets not be hostile~ I mean it's not like I own people to do my labor and get paid for it because I just so happened to be the owner~ I worked hard on my own to make this thing! For those who can't afford it, I am endeavoring to make everything free so dw~ And yes... Capitalism works... But this thing isn't entirely Capitalistic ~

It seems a very nice game , too early still not so much content available , but if the developer will include the "typical" fetishes ( piss for instance ) and animated scenes then it will be a solid AAA game.

If you want to be a good dev emulate what Dark Cookie does. Keep people excited and engaged but don't let patreons steer your ship, otherwise you will end up like Tom Hanks and you don't want that.

Earlier we were discussing lazy devs in discord and on the fly Bloo came up with this which I totally agree with.

It's your story and will go the way you want it to. A smart way Dark Cookie keeps the community engaged with Summertime Saga is by having his patreons vote on what character story arcs they want to see next. That way he can kinda focus his efforts in a single direction making it easier, patreons get their democracy and everyone is happier with the end result.

Ill have to agree with @Adoringfan and the others. As a patron I dont just seek early access. I enjoy being a part of the experience, and being able to share concerns with with the developer. Being around at the start of what will later become huge is really fascinating to witness. Also with what @muttdoggy suggested, I much rather see a dev taking requests from his Patrons, rather than waist time with anti piracy..i mean just take a look around the effort is futile....Side note: Another idea would be to hold live Q and As with your patrons about you and your games future, we really appreciate small things like that.

Regardless, if I see a dev who genuinely cares about his project and the people who back him, also one whos always actively engaging, theyll have my support. The fact that youre weighing options and leaning on advice shows that you want to do things right, if so I look forward to following your progress. Just be wary of easy cash flow, loss of integrity normally isn't far behind.

Ahh yes ! There is an animated scene in the 0.5 update coming out on the fifth... It looks like shit though cause I don't know how to get good video on Ren'py xP

Ahh yess, I'm making the next update Free ~ The main reason why I got to playing many of the adult games I played was because they were free so.. I'ma post them up for free! And how do people normally do live Q and As ? I love that idea ! And yes yes, this game is quite personal to be still though... I'm not adding in things that simply people are expecting and taking my time to make a game that I would be happy with~ Hope you play the 0.5 update ~~

ACTUALLY It's a really short update ... It's not worth being called an 0.5 and It's all i've done so far. It's more like an 0.3 update~ There is a small animation in there are it doesn't even get through half the day ~ So 0.3 !

I lied, it's an 0.3 update xD I don't think it's long enough to be called an 0.5 update, even though it is more than twice the length of the demo~
