Just Curious about Members Opinion:

If a Game/VN hasn't had a release in 10 months+ isn't it really Abandoned? Shouldn't the criteria for abandoned be: No release in 6 months is labeled abandoned? How many Devs release once a month or so but it's a tiny release. Basically a 5 minuted release. But At Least They Are Doing It!

Can you imagine if you were payed $400 a month to post a few comments and maybe a couple images on Patroen? How many people here would do that? I'd take that money and support Devs that actually produce.

PS: I really like this game, it has so much promise. The characters have such interesting personalities! The youngest daughter is interesting: Acts super young while threatening to expose you if you don't do things her way. The twins are freaks (good vs evil twin). Mom and the Hotel manager(?) are my next favorites. (I can't remember any names and apparently I deleted it... OOPS). Does anyone know what happened to ManicMinxy? The usual excuses? I've been sick (couch, cough)... My mom died (sad if true)... I lost sight in one eye... Serious! View of Family Dev used that one... My hard drive/computer died? ... Seriously? I have multiple FREE Mega accounts with 50GB each. Come on Devs! Back Up Your Shit!

I personally think the Abandoned criteria is flawed for this very reason. So far we have seen no actual substantial progress beyond some pics of characters, some environment rigging and a text format saying 95% which was about a month ago. The game may not be 'abandoned' technically but it needs to have a "Long Hiatus" status or something.

Pretty much last year Minxy said exams and school was the focus. Fair enough, then we heard nothing. Minxy came back and said there was real life stuff going on, health and family. Cool. But didn't make good on promised patreon content. When they did come back to being active, a member here told them to pause their patreon and how to do it to not come off as milking when Minxy themselves apologized for looking like they were taking money. Since then Minxy didn't touch their Patreon renewals, posted about 9 screenshots of two characters in the same locations. Which to be honest isn't that hard, it's just different rigging of models. So we haven't seen much diversity in what they say they're working on.

I have no doubt we will see the update in the next month or two but I doubt highly it'll meet expectations of a year's wait. I think it easily needs to be 3 or so hours, multiple sex scenes and moving the plot along, to warrant such a hiatus. Main thing I am concerned with is Minxy said they've been focusing on writing if I recall. I am very wary of the fact this next update is gonna be bloated to hell with dialogue and no actual content; I.e 20-30 text boxes per image.

Two Characters in the same location? You're wrong...it's ONE character in the same location from different Points of View! But Minxy can say that are two because Brooke has an identical twin(i forgot her name but she is basically my favorite character, bc i have a kink for vanilla characters) but then we can reply that Brooke is the one with the devilish/seductive smile(24/7) on her face

For the rest i agree without having nothing to add except something for people who may don't believe you: go check like 30-40 pages ago, i was there, StarPlatinum was there, another couple of guys were there...for a while Minxy's teasers were plates of food on a table! OH COME ON! EVEN IF SHE POSTED THAT STUFF DURING 1st April THAT WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO BE FUNNY!

Well, Pandelo did warn he would disappear for a time - and his game is marked as abandoned, unlike this one beside all delays.
Two major differences right there at the gate.

Also, in defense of Pandelo, as soon as he knew he would be gone, he paused his account. So, none of his patrons have been charged since he left. I know because I am one of his patrons.

I wholeheartedly agree - honestly, my grievance is more with the mods letting things stand as they are instead of putting the tag for once, to warn newcomers and let oldtimers get some sense of closure.

Some definitions need to be revised, i guess. Update should be new content, not the vague, repeatedly unrealized promises of it - that really does not count as valid update, imho. And i suspect i'm far from the only one to think the same.

Establishing guidelines in a forum is difficult due to the many different points of view and situations. What is accurate for some cases is not so for others and sometimes there will be a sense of injustice. But the guidelines once established must be followed. Not to do so would be unfair and chaotic.

Beyond that here we provide all the information we can get about each game. We set the release date of the last update, recently added the update date of the thread, Patreon pages and the author's websites. And many publish the news as they happen. In other words, the user doesn't only have a prefix to know the state of development. This provides in almost all cases enough information to make a decision. Some catch it and others not, but it's there.

We also have a forum (Features Request) where users can make suggestions. Many of the improvements came from there. But everything takes some time of analysis and implementation and many are frustrated because they are not applied immediately, but I assure it's very useful for us.
