Well, I know everyone has their opinion, I personally think Paris looks much better now.. The prevoious version looked like a woman in her late 30's trying to look young... I do miss the old Sasha but it's nothing for me to make me want to lose interest in the game.

it's fine as long as you don't force a slutty LI to us. Side characters can be as slutty as possible since they are there to just fuck but the people with whom there are gonna be feelings involved please don't make they slutty. Just a few days ago i was playing a game where after a long gameplay i came to know that one of the LIs did DP in her past. that killed the mood for me.

Slutty? As in behaving like a slut? Well that would be impossible as this game has no ntr tag which indicates the females aren't sexually involved with multiple partners AKA slutting it up.

Now if your definition of a slut is a woman who had a threesome in the past, then it sounds more like a "you" problem than a dev problem.

Revamps inevitably make me lose interest. This one is no exception either. Miracle and Sasha were what kept me coming back to this, but now....I find them to be terrible compared to the old renders. Such a waste...

I wish people would finally stop making these comparisons because it gets tiring and in the end it is pointless because nothing will change because of it. Superwriter was dissatisfied with the pre-revamp version and that's all that matters. Live with the new version, or leave it alone.

no more animations after the revamp? or will they be added later?

I tried to hire an animator before as you know and the guy screwed me over asking me for twice the money to continue doing animations so I am not counting on other people anymore and I will take the time to learn later but I'm really just not that good at it. Sorry. and instead of taking time out to learn I would rather just focus on the story and renders

Is the character's name critical to the story ?

Not exactly, but he's his own character and I'm telling a story, this kinetic now will be more like you're watching a movie.

Heck, I said in my review in February that I think this VN would be better if it were kinetic so sign me up. Even when VN choices aren't "good choice / bad choice," choices are vastly overrated. Either they make minor dialogue changes or they suck development time away from other work the dev could be doing. I generally end up playing all of the routes and other choices anyway unless they seem uninteresting or focus on kink I don't care for, but I'd rather have more content in a single linear narrative than something a third of the length but with three routes.

I do think kinetic VNs are given less leeway though. Compared to more branching VNs, there's less player investment and people are less forgiving. But you're probably already in the top 1% on the site for pure ability to construct interesting prose so I doubt that will be a problem.

Real quick question I know this is a revamp but isn't this update 0.8 not 0.9 since this ends at the same event as 0.8 before revamp and 0.9 is new content?

I named them chapters before, but I switched to calling them versions again so chapter 8 was always version 9. Sorry about the confusion

in every game i go for 2 routes. 1 is my canon one where i am loyal to 1 girl and another one where MC is a manwhore just to see all the contents in the game. IRL i am like my canon route. Answering your question i use slut for both the genders. If a man does the same of course he is a manslut. there's no denying that. hope that answered your question.

And everything would be extremely boring as it would play like an interactive version of the cringiest romance novel. If we went full meta, with no "sluts" there would be no porn period.

I don't even want every characters to be virgin. It's all fine if a girl had sex while she was in a relationship. I know if i expect those things you've mentioned these games will not be any less than romance novels. I am completely fine with side characters as sluts. It's just that i play these games because of their story and i feel so disconnected when LIs are sluts. can't see them as LIs. Obviously many will differ and that's when games consists of choices comes into play. I can ignore those LIs i am not interested in.

BTW what's sarah green's story? she was abandoned when she was young. Met her father in her 20s. Was in a relationship with her father. A little detail was given about her husband and her 2 children.

I think all developers have the right to change the looks of their characters. But also all players have the right to express whether they like the new looks or not. Both sides have to accept the opinions. But without feedbacks the developers do not know whether many players will like their creation or not. So insisting on the point "It's my game and my vision, I do what I like!" is a developer's right, but not very helpful, if you want to create something that many people will like - which is helpful if you want to earn money with it or just be successfull in terms of happy players.

In my opinion no redesign was an improvent.
Paris looks in my opinion now still okay and in a slightly above average way kind of cute. Before she was quite hot, even though a little bit unnatural, to be honest. Well, except the hair. It now looks like a peruke for carnival.
The three other girls all look to me like they have a touch of some kind of illness, at least at some pictures. And that is something that should always be avoided, because that can never be attractive. Except you really, really want them to look like that.
So saying "That's how I wanted them!" might be the truth, but if so many people say that they do not like the new looks, then maybe the own vision was just perhaps not the best idea, if you want many people to like what you created.
