I don't really get why people enjoyed this one so much.

Don't get me wrong the story is pretty good and develops at a good pace but there are just so many time jumps where there should have been more scenes and development. And the lack of actual sex is really disappointing. For what there was the scenes where really short, that you'd basically have to choose your favorite line of text or still image that you could have saved time just googling something.

Also the lack of actual animation instead of it being explained what is happening, feels like I could have read some erotic novel and felt the same thing.

I really liked this besides. You have/had something potentially great here dev. Please re-release without all the time jumps and add in all the stuff that we were told happened during those moments. And also please add the animations for the sex scenes. That would just make this one of the best.

This specific thing is probably never going to happen. Superwriter originally had no animations and has said he doesn't feel comfortable with trying to make them himself. So, he hired an animator to do that for him. After the initial animations — which were only average in quality anyway — the animator jumped their price and (from how it sounds) effectively tried to hold the developer hostage over them. In response, SW fired the animator, changed back to stills instead of animations, and now it seems he doesn't trust that he can work with an animator again.

Which one? There are two mods with that function (from OscarSix and Koga3). I used when i played the game back then the one from Koga3 and had no issues.

I did a quick install with the game + Mod from OscarSix, but had actually no issues with it either. Starting the game, using the gallery - for me it worked. Maybe re-download the game + Mod again?

Possibly. Dev has considered making either DLC content or going with a direct sequel.

If dev does make a sequel or DLC for this, hopefully it's animated this time. Story is okay, even though dialogue/monologue is a little weird/cringy in some places, definitely didn't think to check to see if it had animation before I tried it out.

If animations are your main reason for playing the games, I would look elsewhere. None of his current games have them, as far as I remember PP had a few mediocre ones that he had someone else do. But he got to remove them again when he had problems with him/them. And he stated himself that he's not a specialist in it.

I just finished today, and while the novel is decent, I found lacking, at least comparing with Secret Summer, which I enjoyed more.
