What Hino probably meant (at that time, at least) is that the REGULAR pokemon breeding system will/might be present.
And by REGULAR I mean the one which you leave TWO 'mons on that place so they can do their... stuff.
Then again, if you checked that dev blog (link to it is present a few posts above), another thing that MAY or MAY NOT be related to what you ask is being cooked for the next version...

Some guy at GameFreak got doxxed and the hackers/leakers have accessed many resources including source code, beta builds, design sketches, documents, chat log, plan from Gen 3 to Gen 10, Pokemon Legend Z-A, anime, cards. (Include more than 2000 employees' information as well)
The leakers claimed they accessed more than 1TB resource
