Where is viruark? i cannot find her
go to the sewer plant next door to the second gym in Eclipse city. In the south west part there is a hole you can go down in where you can find Viruark. Beat the shit out of here and she will go to the hidden grotto

1. You CAN actually catch pokemon in the first town. There are wild pokemon in the grass within the town itself (where Mankey is available to counter the First trainer) so your assessment on being unable to catch mons or train is incorrect.
I know, it's where I was trying to catch a mankey, until I thought about checking if I could evolve it into anihilape in the forum, at the very beggining. That's the only reason I didn't lose against that first trainer. If I remember correctly, I had an spearow too for that fight. I was trying to get a bellsprout, as I got one in the first try until the crash, but I didn't want to waste my balls in a mon I wasn't sure I would keep and the damn bastards kept getting out of my pokeballs.

2. I agree that Pokemon having illegal moves are annoying, but this was meant to give veteran players a bit of a shake-up, so they would have a little more thinking to do in terms of dealing with enemy team strats. Each of these 'illegal moves' have purpose, and aren't included to simply 'haha surprise.' But you are right that some mons have moves that simply make no sense, and I will readjust those.
Fair enough. If it isn't on your plans already, I advice to give some reason in game as for how or why some pokemon can get those illegal moves but yours can't. It's just some fluff, it shouldn't affect the gameplay, but it IS satisfying when it's not just the cpu being a cheating bastard XD

3. I agree that route 1 is excessively difficult (and unfair) but its purpose was to set the tone for the rest of the game. Essentially, if you can get through Route 1, the rest of the game isn't going to be nearly as unfair. Joey's overly competitive moveset (if you can believe it) used to be MUCH HARDER. E.G. His Ferrothorn has leech seed, etc. Think of Route 1 as a filter. If you survive it, the game gets better from there. I do agree that balancing is an issue, since players have numerous playstyles and its impossible for me to cover all of them (which is why Nintendo has resorted to making everything babyishly simple so that EVERYONE can play it) but I made this game with a certain target audience in mind. Its not made for everyone, and it shows.
As I said, it's not so much hard as it is unfair. I see your reason, and I think there are other ways to get it, with breed moves instead of illegal ones. Or at the very least, as I said, give a reason in story as for how those mons can exist. I tried to offer several alternatives for each thing I think could be improved.

At least, your game isn't as oppresively restrictive as, say, Reborn. In that one it was stupid how the fun moves (and decent pokemon) were restricted to the player until much later, forcing the player to either have luck with the event pokemon for very specific strats or using super weak ones, while the cpu kept using powerful mons with very good movesets AND special fields that gave them the advantage over you. In comparison, the only reason my Luxray doesn't have thunderbolt already (besides not feeling like farming 20 arceus cards, which would take... what? 10 minutes? Something like that) is that, well, she is a physical mon. Well, technically mixed in my case, but Spark was more than enough for the moment and she still has a better physical attack.

And to be honest, when you reach Joey, unless you haven't trained Adalass at all, he is not hard. Just annoying XD

I agree that making things more friendly for beginners would give this game more traffic, but attention is a double edged sword. I might be getting more patrons, and I might also earn the ire of Nintendo's Cease and Desist squad if this game ever goes viral.

For the moment, I'm happy with where its at. I don't want too much attention, nor do I want this game to be as popular as other Fanmade pokemon games/romhacks lik Reborn, rejuvenation, Kaizo, Clover, Obsidian, etc. Remember Pokemon Uranium? Yeah, not risking that. I've made posts in the past on this thread saying I'm not afraid of Nintendo. That is true, I would flip the bird at their lawyers if I could, but seeing so many people invested in this game, it would suck balls if I was rendered unable to see it through to the end.
Again, fair enough. To be honest, I think that a big part of the whole Uranium clusterfuck is that Japan is still a bit traumatized with the atomic bombs, or at least that's what Internet tells me. Nintendo, once you pay more attention to every case, usually has several reasons to push a C&D, but not always, so yeah, fair enough.

So yeah, thanks for your time (I imagine you spent a damn long time) on this review, and I hope you continue to keep your eye on it in future. Best regards, SIN.
Eh, if I didn't like what I've played, I assure you I wouldn't have bothered with that review, so, unless you do something REALLY wrong, you got that covered for the moment XD

And I'm going to be honest. I'm not specially interested in pokephilia, so I'm mostly playing your game as I would any other poke fangame, but with extra NSFW parts and I found it more engaging from that point of view than many other already completed games. The naughty parts, for me, were just an added bonus.

Ok, fair response. I'll just address one more thing before shamelessly plugging my patreon perks.

I understand that Nintendo has several other reasons to go hard after Uranium, but based on many of my concerned players, apparently there have been numerous Pokemon porn games/visual novels that have been taken down by Nintendo due to the sexual nature and their aversion to such content owing to their brand being family friendly. So I'm just trying to avoid getting struck down like the others. To my knowledge, there are less than a handful of Pokeporn games still safely in development (not talking other parodies, but specifically those that have the same gameplay as the mainstream games)

Ok, now shameless plug time. In my patreon, there are 4 tiers, with the highest being 10$. These patrons get to vote for a monthly HD wallpaper (1980 x 1020) and guess what? The one voted in january just got posted a few hours ago. Its Caleb x Asha in a very, uh.. sensual position. So if you're not into pokephillia, I always offer plenty more.

Shameless plug over. Anyways, I'm glad you enjoyed your experience so far.

Regards, SIN.

Fair, I keep forgetting that it is an H game XDDD

One strat that I've seen used to avoid Nintendo's attention is to not use their TM names. So it may be a good idea for the future to call the game for another name, instead of pokemon h version. I remember Pokemon Rising Phoenix being advertised as just Rising Phoenix because of this very reason. We know it's pokemon, in game the name Pokemon appears (smaller than Rising Phoenix, if I recall correctly) but in twitter, forums, etc, it's just Rising Phoenix.

And more Asha is always welcomed!

Damn it, dunno how many times that makes it now. I must applaud SINtax's ingenuity in creating challenging story encounters, despite how painful it is throwing myself at them like an egg to a brick wall. With a bit of experimentation (and blind luck) my strategy and team composition is getting better and better at countering Asha's team, but that damn Wyverfang can take and dish out punishment like a motherfucker; and the Pokedex won't give me a hint as to what type it even is.

I'm so close to figuring it out, I'm sure of it despite all this. Might have to gamble for a new electric type move for my twice evolved Shinx (can't remember his final evolution's name). Bulbapedia is a man's best friend here but it is by no means a walkthrough lol

Edit: Oh, I've got a very ugly idea involving a pokemon's trait that reduces the attack power of the opponent every time it's sent onto the field, and revives...
I wonder how many times I can spam it before it stops weakening Wyverfang's earthquakes...
There's also the issue of Asha using healing items on Wyverfang when it's inches before death...

Final Edit: HOLY SHIT, I DID IT! I'LL MAKE A POST DETAILING MY TEAM COMPOSITION, MOVE POOL AND EQUIPMENT LATER, ANYONE ARSED ENOUGH TO BEAT ASHA'S SIDEQUEST WILL EITHER FIND IT A GOOD REFERENCE POINT FOR THEIR TEAM, OR FIGURE OUT HOW I USED MINE SUCCESSFULLY WITH A BIT OF EXPERIMENTATION (and luck).

Check the spoiler below if you want to know wyverfang's type, or ignore it if you want to figure it out yourself

I didn't find it so "unfair" or difficult like so many people commented, I found it fun. I am not so sure myself but the Viruark scene trigger seems a bit off? Had to fiddle with it like 3 times for it to trigger, maybe I just positioned myself wrong many times.
I am not sure if anyone mentioned it but you can actually see the Viruark scenes in the galery without even triggering it too.
Pic of my team after I defeated the team admin thing.

Don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but the lift that takes you to the room with Water Pulse and Psychic says "Top Foor" instead of "Top Floor".
