I'm not liking the new ambush mechanics, early game its too easy to get forced into a nasty battle at a massive disadvantage because you happened to find yourself next to a death stack. If fleeing didn't force you to drop everything then it wouldn't be that bad, but as it is now the failure state in portals is really too punishing.

was exploring a portal and went to a ! space inside a special area in the portal and the game softlocked. (Cant move or do anything, some buttons still work.)
Im guessing an event tried to play but was unsuccessful for some reason or another. Kind of a bummer. Any way to stop this from happening in the future?

I think the 24.1 patch fixed that error, it was an error with the shadowgirl event

i feel like the difficulty exploded this last update, tier 1 portals have 100 power stacks roaming, and 50+ power on average, wich makes most battles really hardcore when you are lvl 1 with nothing, and with the ambush mechanic, even with the scout background you just get chased. Is that intended? is the game going to have a difficulty spike from now on? i have played a lot and got really far, but im not that much of a minmaxer, specialy at the beginning
May I ask you to upload unlockables file somewhere like Mega, Workupload or Google drive? My provider doesn't let me download any attachments from this site, I just keep getting timeout

I don't use third-party file-hosts unless it's a large file, and even then only very temporarily. If your web browser is using TLS, it shouldn't have a single problem accessing attachments.f95zone.to, unless you've got some DNS filtering or an installed software that is filtering stuff. Your ISP shouldn't be filtering anything, so that's a bit baffling. Try a VPN. Слава Украине.

You are playing on freeplay and the gene max is tied to world level. Level the world up by clearing higher threat portals.
Use openDNS or some other dns over https with cloudflare etc. Firefox has this built in. Your ISP should have no real other way of telling what websites you open. Always use HTTPS also. Absurd that your ISP is blocking porn sites lol, they have no business in knowing that you jerk off to a weird hentai game.
DNSpy is accurate enough to provide code for unity projects with some tweaking(Well, maybe not DNSpy but some of the other C# extractors) I'm curious myself so if I figure it out I'll give you a step by step. C# with unity is insanely easy, to the point where even non-coders can figure it out themselves so I don't think you'll have an issue, but maybe the dev made efforts to stop stuff like this so byte patching is needed.

There are no protections in PoP, no obfuscation or import scrambling or VMs or byte-engines, or anything of the sort. But you need to be careful about throwing off enum values for this particular project. That's what it uses to determine unlocks. By the way, the word you're looking for is *decompiler*, not extractor... X_X The vast majority only reasonably reliably decompile intermediate languages such as JavaShit and C#hit, or any other .NETshit. The vast majority of C/C++/ASM/fill-in-list are analysis-based and quite unreliable most of the time. Best to walk through that kind of code tools beyond scope PoP-relevance.

Code is weird. I'm autistic when it comes to code though. Lots of hard coded stuff I can see why you have to do this manually. You'd think that using UnlockGalleryScene on the list of gallery scenes would unlock them all properly, but nope it just breaks the entire game in the weirdest way possible.

Actually, I made a tool a while back to entirely automate making an Unlockables.sav, but a power outage *last week* and bad HDD...*sigh* UPS arrived yesterday, batteries arrive Monday, meh. Hosting my tools on a private server with redundancy now.

Hi not sure if anyone can help out with my problem or not but I figured I would ask. I had my laptop hard drive completely fail on me around the March time frame. I didn't get around to ordering a replacement & doing laptop surgery until just very recently. I lost pretty much 700 GB worth of games & files on the bad drive which was a shame but my issue is that I can't for some reason get this game running. Unity will initialize & the opening screen for it launching shows up for approximately 20-40 secs before I see a crash window for about 5 secs & everything shuts down. I can't even launch the crash handler app, nothing happens when I try. I had no problems running this game on my prior hard drive & the specs are identical on the new one, perhaps I am missing something obvious? If anyone could offer suggestions I would be incredibly grateful.
There seems to be a bug presently with Oriel taking the male potion. After using it at least while training the succubus, it still registers as having a clit during interactions.
Asking on the discord would probably be the best idea.
If you're getting the loading screen, my guess is some kind of permission issue with reading the game's content. That's pretty much what happened for me when all the files in the game folder lost their permissions and the game stopped being able to read anything.

Thank you for actually taking the time to reply. I figured out the issue had to do with my AMD software, I was able to download the necessary items to fix the problem.

I generally solo the game on 600% dif. for my first run, used to do it with Druid (it was challenging) but with Oriel it's actually really hard. But I am rather experienced and like to get as many achievements out of the way as possible since they unlock more options in new runs.
Boasting over.
Not all starters are made equal. A Strong Large Centaur, for example, if you give it a good weapon can solo an arena at level 1. Just charge in and finish with second attack. Don't melee with mages and support like Lyreans and Lavagirls, use their magic. Have a seedling or elemental spirit to help you out and debuff the enemy. Also, play on terrain of your element. Starting element gives a spell that buffs allies and debuffs enemies.
Obviously, some Arena fights expect a full team and like in D&D, lvl 1 is where you are the most vulnerable. You can train your MC in the training room, after the first 2 days, Aila will be there after her shift (evenings) and you get +50% xp if you train with her. If you befriend her, you can ask her to teach your monsters for a small fee, instantly jump-starting one from lvl 1 to 4 or even 5.
It's important to note genes and class type, as well as species, determine how much will one improve upon level up. A strong hybrid or unique species with 0 genes might be better than a 10 gene average starter, for example.
Other than these tips, experience will help you most. Positioning, knowing what your party does and how to play around that.
Having an all Ice party is certainly very different than playing a Melee poison mix. With your party comp, I suggest adding a Healer, since the Centaur can deal enough damage while the flower girl should dish poison damage and protect from said debuffs. A Lavagirl Lyrean hybrid would be best, possibly with a Mermaid and a Catgirl for the extra tank and dps.
