With the first "victims", Sterling had no idea what Hunter did (Eva and Brenna in the first few chapters), but afterwards Hunter always made sure Sterling was very aware that Hunter was snatching pussy from under his nose. I think at this point it has become a real powerplay. Hunter isn't satisfied anymore with just taking the girls, he needs to do it while Sterling is aware to show him he's the real alpha. But as always, this will be his downfall.

I think this is generally a good explanation. As Hunter gradually realized that Sterling was a legitimate rival, Hunter felt the need to assert dominance over him. To Hunter, the idea of seducing the women while Sterling watches helplessly is probably more exciting than simply fucking them behind Sterling's back.

I don't think it is. Otherwise Hunter wouldn't be able to have time to setup his tricks. We had a scene where she was specifically asked to watch over Hunter during the party that could lead to a bad end. So I think we can assume it's not normal for Sterling to ask Lucia to be on guard duty.

Power Vacuum is BY FAR the best Ive tried and everything else has been a disappointment. Lust Theory, Shut up and Dance, Timestamps, all decent - good but nowhere near as good imo.

I don't know if I'd call Drew an antagonist in a traditional sense. To me Drew doesn't seem like a villain, and isn't necessarily opposed to Sterling. Drew's motivations are still somewhat mysterious, and I'm looking forward to hopefully learning more about Drew's past and goals in chapter 12.
