I have a feeling that this update will turn out to be a confrontation for Sterling? I mean, chapter 11 was slightly in favor of Hunter and a little for Drew, and the new chapter, apparently, there is an assumption that a difficult situation is expected for Sterling, the penultimate chapter I think will give us a serious ending and we will guess what will happen in the final chapter 13...

Dev never said at the start of December. It’s confirmed for later this month though.

It was Hunter. It was never confirmed in game, but you could pretty much put it together. WWG also said it was Hunter when asked.

Hunter is Sterling from the future, who was successful in later life but had regrets from his early life and became a bitter old rapist. His push to make Sterling take charge is what he ultimately wants because it will change the timeline.

wait really? huh... but even if Sterling doesnt take charge he just fucks them regardless so isnt that just contraditory since it just erases every possibility of change for him. (like the time he was blind on what if)

It's just a fan theory. The real answer is probably just that Hunter wants sterling to succeed him as Dioś de Sessó so he's trying to train him and help him. That's also why he gave Sterling the growth hormones. Hunter just doesn't like that Sterling refuses to share and keeps cockblocking him

If Sterling fails to take charge then the bitter old man will just take what fun he can. Given Hunters selfish nature and the futuristic things he has access too, it makes sense.
