Yeah, I think it’s strange, as well. Each passing day makes the supposed December release seem more ridiculous. If there was no benefit to stringing the Stans along either, it’d be more whatever for me. But entering your final chapter, starting 13’s development even a day later is a day added to the total PV dev time and thus more cash flow. But some may be active in the discord and he’ll reply to your message or animate your visions. Over the years, they think that’s a friend and that they’re getting their back by excusing the lack of transparency, not someone they give money to monthly to make them porn.

You always go to the extremes and twist words to defend your hero. No one is asking for him to get done in 5 months or less. Never have I said a thing about the overall time it takes to develop the game. It’s him giving timelines that are constantly wrong. The guys a walking thesaurus. It’s highly doubtful he missed one deadline, then immediately gave himself another deadline that was borderline and he might miss. He’s not that dumb.
I mean I think it’s getting more obvious which side of the coin it is, but that’s just me. No one has rushed him, people are just tired of him missing dates every single update. Don’t even give a fucking date if you can’t ever hit it and take your time lol. At some point when you miss every update; it’s either dishonesty, poor work ethic, or poor estimating. This is the same guy who used to argue with everyone on here about dates to the point he said he wouldn’t do it anymore, then kept doing it and kept missing lol. Would just be nice to see that improve so he doesn’t scare people off his next game when they aren’t as invested.
The problem with what you’re saying is that you’re implying it’s a deadline. It’s not, it’s an estimate. He already even refunded the people who subbed for December just for the release and promised to get the beta to them. He never set a hard deadline, just gave an estimate. While I do agree that WWG is not good at evaluating the speed at which he works or how much time things will take, he’s open about it, and fully transparent too.

At the risk of being unpopular, I think the best thing to do for anyone who is still pressing F5 on it's keyboard hoping to obtain chapter 12 by staying awake, just remember that even if he does release the beta in 30 minutes. A "hero" still has to leak it, which can take hours and sometime an entire day before it happens (if not more so in some cases). THEN you have to download it, which can take quite some time depending on your internet speed, then you have to apply the patch to FINALLY start the game...

So I finally reached Chapter 11 and I am playing through it looking for this "Sterling" character everyone keeps mentioning when it dawns on me... that's the default name of the MC! LMAO... WHY would you refer to him by his default name?! Sheesh...
Had some sexy moments in chapter 11... I also slammed my space bar rapidly during them and missed A LOT OF DIALOG! Man alive, who in the hell talks that much, and about casual shit while fucking?! Oh better, he's about to have sex, he's naked with a beautiful woman and he's acting like a damn woman... "I don't know, are you sure about this? It feels wrong!" LMFAO... seriously?! If it feels wrong, keep your fucking clothes on and don't enter the room with her. Heheheh.... oh man, I skipped so much dialog this chapter, I was getting annoyed at the lame conversations and just starting tapping rapidly on the space bar! (and I like a good story but)... anyhow...
It does have it's good points... the Dev has a good sense of humour, but he (SHE?!) doesn't know how men think... when a woman is nekkid and wants to have sex, our body automatically switches from thinking with the big head, to thinking with the little head, at least if you're ALREADY NEKKID AND IN THE ROOM WITH HER!!! (and especially if gas is being pumped into the rooms, and your food is being drugged to make you horny)

This argument doesn’t make sense to me. He is his own boss, yes he’ll never have a strict deadline making independent games. But him publicly announcing a date to all of his fans/customers should be handled the same as a strict deadline. Him making that public and setting that expectation, is him setting himself a deadline. He even re emphasized the December release in November, if you are giving an “estimate” on a 10 month project the month before it’s a deadline.
As far as the “customer service” side of things, returning money, honoring patrons. That is something he has always been good for, which some devs won’t.

Now I could be wrong, but I think WWG posted that on the PV discord for all to see.
And the second question is silly considering how it's supposed to be a beta release, meaning it's supposed to be used for testing out bugs and such. That's without mentioning how some final releases of games, be it porn or conventional ones, get pushed out the door with bugs as well. It's a part of coding.

Because today is when he is finishing up working on it? He didn't finish yesterday and he didn't finish a few days ago. He worked on it all the way up until now and he is now building it in renpy. He isn't just sitting on the finished build and only testing it now. Once he finishes his test, he will begin uploading the build aka the Beta for his patreons to play and you guys to pirate.

Dart I'm desperate for you to leave this abusive relationship you have going on with WWG. He told you with enough confidence that you publicly stated it would be released on the 7th. So either you gotta learn when not to say anything or he has no qualms throwing you to the wolves knowing you'll stay loyal. He should have had this testing wrapped up before he ever told anyone anything. And if you can't admit that him telling you it's ready for release tomorrow and then just not releasing it then consider this your intervention baby because he's hitting you.
And I wanna be real clear with your snarky "y'all pirate it" comment. I supported PV financially since Ch 3 and he banned me from discord and Patreon because he was trash talking other devs and I told him it was a shitty thing to do. So don't blame me for his thin skin creating pirates out of supporters.

If anything, you should be saying "you're being treated harshly here. You should probably ignore this thread". If not for the few bad apples here, everyone gets along otherwise. He didn't just tell me, that was him talking on his discord. Day isn't over yet. It might rollover past midnight, but he said he's going to get the release out, then go to sleep. There is still 2 hours left for today though.

And you're smart. So you know that the errors he's talking about dealing with are errors you catch in alpha testing, not the day of a beta release. And just because the only thing most people in this thread ever tested was their momma's patience doesn't mean we can just lie about it.
