if anyone knows I am curious this games last update was the beginning of the year and we are approaching the end of the year, it hasnt been abandoned or anything right? will there be an update before the year is up?

It's not abandoned. There have been multiple updates. Just scroll up and read the previous pages.
Think it depends in part on whether or not there's going to be more last chance voting next month. If there is I don't see how he renders the scenes and writes everything before the holiday season. I could be wrong and he has a lot more rendered already that he hasn't shown.

That's my thought. the month that he cancels Last Chance polls, will probably mean that the game will come out the next month. so say he says no more Last Chance for November, that probably means the game will come out December. as he needs time to finish the last chance the month before (this month) and to write and code the entire chapter.
That being said, if we get a Last Chance in December, expect release to be in January. That's my guess at least.

I'm pretty sure Last Chance votes are done, the Oct 1 Patreon post was called "Last Chance - October Suggestions - FINAL ROUND". That being the case, it seems like the finish line is in sight. I'm guessing the dev is aiming for the end of the year but won't announce a firm date until he's almost done, just in case more time is needed.
Since we're almost out if characters, WWG would likely allow some characters to be used a second time if last chance was to continue.
Which pairings would you guys like to see ? I think i would love to see more Brenna x Ophelia or something new like Lucia x Brenna. These two freaks in bed together would be amazing to see

I was not following this games's thread properly for months. (Or any game's in general. Too much work in real life.)

Then let's fix it.
Two things might have gone wrong:
- the app is quarantined by Gatekeeper because it's from an unknown developer (=not from the App store, Apple doesn't like that);
- the executable inside the app might have lost its execute permission during unzipping
To remove the quarantine, type "xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine " and drag the app again into the window. Again, mind the space between the command and the path. Hit enter. Quarantine should now be removed.
To check the second case, you need to look into the contents of the app: right click on the Powervacuum app, pick Show package contents. Navigate to /Contents/MacOS/. Inside that folder you'll see a file PowerVacuum_Chapter12_Patreon. That file should be a Unix executable. If it's anything else, it has lost its execute permission.
To fix this, start Terminal and type "chmod a+x " without the quotes at the prompt and drag the file inside the Terminal window. Terminal will fill out the path for you. Again mind there is a space between the command and the path. Hit enter. The file should now be executable.
As a general precaution, make a duplicate of the app first before changing its attributes or permissions. And don't forget to apply the Uncensored Patch.

wow, i didn't catch that it was the final round. Kevin barely made it in. I might even start to think that late December is possible.

I doubt it will. WWG doesn't do the writing until the renders are done and he hasn't mentioned starting it. He then has to do pick up renders and finally compile the game as well as fixing errors.

Don't think so. WWG still has to do the writing and that takes at least 2 months. A safe bet would be early/mid January

I don't remember which one i used to make the realistic looking ones, but the blendmix model makes it look so much more like in-game models.
