Well, I saw Patreon's inquisition coming from miles away... It's even weird they didn't come for this game sooner... Not moving to Subscribestar less than ideal... But it is what it is. If WWG are smart, they will just move away from Patreon as soon as possible. Instead, they are losing time and money trying to comply with Patreon's censorship...

A lot of successful Devs left Patreon, and most of their Subs followed. And now those Devs do their job without being afraid of censorship. F*** censorship.

Guess you missed the drama that started last week. There won't be an update, since someone reported the game to Patreon and they came down hard, causing WWG to edit a whole bunch of stuff out of the game. He'll need a new stamp of approval from Patreon before he can update again.

I don't understand why people insist on still complaining about the Hunter content. You can simply avoid the NTR, you've always been able to. What does it matter if there's content in the game that you have no obligation to see?

I know this game is really popular with the ntr crowd, but lets be honest. Most people who come on these sites and play these type of games are not really into ntr. It's very much a niche and controversial fetish which is why we have arguments over it all the time as most people don't actually like getting ntr content. If anything it's the fact that the ntr content is skippable that's lead to this game's success.

The ntr is there for the people who want it and the people that don't want it just come for the humor and good character models, which replace the ntr scenes with mishaps for hunter where he ends up getting injured in some type of way. A lot of games don't really have much balance on that type of thing so the people who don't like ntr have it forced upon them or the opposite happens and ntr content is next to non existent and often forgotten about. This way everybody wins and more people are willing to support it. Most of the drama just seems to happen over the what ifs.

That helped, yes. But it's also the fact that you've got an opponent to outsmart. To use a good example of why a game needs a story, take the infamous Big Brother. At first, the point is to stay one step ahead of your rival Eric, but when people complained about him (no idea why, it was so badly implemented he was pretty much a non-factor), he got written out and suddenly there was no more story. So what happened? The story devolved into a "let's make a porn" and interest in the game went down, because it was a non-story. But here there's the constant "threat" that makes an interesting story.

There's a bunch of games out there that start of strong story wise, but then lose their focus. Instead of having an overarching storyline, they're just "bang all these girls" and once that's done, they have no more idea on how to go further, since that's pretty much the story. But since the story here (getting rid of Hunter) isn't tied to sex, there's a lot more freedom.

This is exactly right. This game has found a brilliant formula which allows it to appeal to fans with different tastes. Unfortunately some people didn't share this view. In their minds the (non-canon) What Ifs meant they weren't winning, so no one would be allowed to win.

With regards to Hunter, I'd like to reinforce that he is absolutely essential to the story. As mentioned by others, Hunter is a source of conflict which is a key ingredient in stories to make them interesting. Hunter is also the catalyst for many plot developments like Sterling's physical growth and the women's increased sexual appetites. Without Hunter, Sterling would probably still be a short weakling, the ladies probably wouldn't be horny enough to turn to Sterling to satisfy them, and they'd probably all be homeless. Sterling might not realize it (yet?) but he has many reasons to be grateful to Hunter.

Ironically there are 2 ways for Hunter to "win": 1) by getting the ladies himself or 2) by Sterling realizing his full "dio del sesso" potential. It's almost like the Sith "Rule of Two" from Star Wars. If the apprentice can defeat the master, then the master has done his job.

I mean, not really. Hunter's kind of stupid and the choices that lead to the ntr scenes are always exteremy obvious. There are plenty of ntr games where the characters are competing with each other. This is not one of those games at all. Even with ntr turned on its pretty much impossible for you to get an ntr scene unless you deliberately let it happen. Hunter is important to the story but that's only because Sterling probably would have never thought of doing anything with any of the characters without Hunters interference. Most of the character events honestly don't really have anything to do with hunter as a character or any of his plans.


Hunter actively helps the protagonist build up a relationship and actually wants Sterling to succeed. Hunter's only real problem is that Sterling is unwilling to share so he's not even really a rival in any regard. It's honestly almost like Sterling is ntring Hunter. Hunter is basically akin to wily coyote where everytime he tries something it blows up in his face and they are pretty much all compeltely ridiculous. I also don't really get why so many people are trying to talk so much about the story in a game that's clearly pretty comedic and episodic in nature. I like the game but it isn't really trying to have some super deep compleling story and theres nothing wrong with that.

"Having an opponent to outsmart" as never really a thing in this game whether you play with ntr or not.
