Before WWG started doing What Ifs new chapters took roughly 4 months. After WWG started doing What Ifs new chapters still take roughly 4 months. Freeloaders really be wilding out here sheesh.
I gotta say I think the "what ifs" are better than the main story, the lack of having to constantly repeat the same decisiona is a winner in my book, I wish the main game would shift in this direction

What decisions do you have to repeat? The game generally tells you exactly what to do and when so just skip ahead to where you need to go to progress the story - zero grind required.

Main line is usually every 4 months. Patreon sides are usually monthly. Its never alternated. I think 1 and 2 came out before the most recent mail line, and 3-5 now since last mainline.

I was hoping for chapter 10, but then again I didn't pay for this so I'm not gonna bitch about it.
maybe I've been playing it wrong, but I find I need to constantly cycle through the same occupied spaces/timezones reading the same dialogue to bring each sequence of events to completion. And why the fuck would you want a game to lead you by the nose all the time?? if there are no decisions to be made just make it a VN.
Power vacuum is good because of the quality of the art, animation and story, the actual gameplay sucks. IMO it could use either more choices to turn it into a proper sandbox, or fewer choices and turn it into a proper VN.

Ignoring the ppl above crying and whining about "What if's", side stories that are not canon, is there any update from the dev about Chapter 10? I love the game, and i want to know the ending.

You have been playing it wrong, because every scene in a story line is different with different dialogue. All you have to do is stay in your room, check the helperbot for the next event, skip to that time, go to the room and bam, new scene. Rinse, repeat, enjoy the VN.
There's at most two choices per chapter. That's it. In the entire chapter. Less with the NTR turned off.
I disagree that that's playing anything!
IMO These kind of stories should be discovered through choices or played liked movies. This follow the instructions from a cheat sheet feels like the worst combination of both worlds.

Yea, I (along with the majority of those who play this VN) want to see Ophelia get smashed, but it will have to be in the main story before it's done in a 'What If' setting. In every VN, there is that one character they keep as a tease until the end...

yeah and a kinetic novel moves forward without you having to use a cheatsheet to find the next stage. This is what I mean when I say it is neither one nor the other.

So from someone who didn't participate in the lore of the game dev since around 16ish month's ago give or take, last update i played ended in the part that the older sister punched the old man, has the story progressed much from there to warrant a replay or should i wait for it to be done?
