I'm curious why Patreon would be a better option than Subscribestar. From what I've seen You are held to less rules there than on Patreon. I concur with others that moving to subscribestar might be the better option. What I'm curious about is the argument of why you would rather stay on Patreon instead. Like if it seems like everyone is saying Subscribestar is the better option cause you have more freedom there, then why would you stay on Patreon? WWG ought to switch to SubscribeStar, no use staying with Patreon and having to rewrite most of the game and having to walk on eggshells for future releases. Their ridiculous rules just stifle creative freedom.

That's valid. Though I have seen other devs here only use Substar and they seem to be doing fine. plus if you already have a following and let them know you are switching platforms, many will probably switch over as well to continue support. And some are already stating that they will.

I've seen a lot of people say for him to move, but in all honestly, how many people here are subbed right now AND will move over to subscribestar if he made the move? That's his biggest concern, that he'll lose a lot of income. It's easy to tell him to move, we just have to wait for the game, but he's the one taking a financial hit.

I would definitely support him on subscribestar. Just refuse to give patreon anything. I think I said something like this months ago. Pretty sure I'm not the only one who refuses to use patreon. Maybe he should make a subscribestar account to test the waters.
He can do what the developer of AWAM does(no I'm not referring to the worthless updates spread over a span of 30 years), make a "Shell game" which complies with all the Patreon T&Cs and email the download link of the actual game.

its better to make an account in substar then if the income is equal to the patreon or maybe he can just have the two of it just to increase his income its like 2 birds in 1 stone
is there anything stopping him from having a Subscribestar aswell as Patreon? that way if Patreon cuts him it won't be a mad scramble to set something else up.
