A little early for a new update.
He / she has only been working for 2-3 weeks
back to the project after unlucky circumstances certain break.
I'm not counting on something new before the end of the month.

I wouldn't count on anything before October, even. Maybe a few teaser pics near the end of September, but definitely no new game version.
is also possible was maybe a little too hopeful in considering how far he was before the unwanted break
Events:
Morning: Two breakfast routes and a small event after that (event and one route is done).
Market hostess job: 2 main routes with variations (1 route is done)
Train event: Two routes. (Not done)
Tutoring job: 2 main routes (1 route done)
Night events: 4 events with different people (2 is done, 1 is progressing). One is with Hank and one is with Wilson. The other two are surprises!
I only found the project shortly before the pause, so it cannot exactly estimate how long it will still take
but since he believed at least half of what was planned
ihc already had finished ihc now also not on as long as the rest will need to be finished. naj how say it turned so beautiful
it's done when it's done.
and i think that things take time.

I'd forgotten that her family just started a new game and decided the read the intro for the first time in a while, maybe the second time ever?
apparently It was at least 5 years before the start of the game. They die, she moves in with her grandmother, then she goes to boarding school for 5 years, her grandmother dies, and she moves in with the new family.
I just peaked into the code. It doesn't look like looking in the mirror does anything mechanically.
It's kinda a nice option to have though either as RP or just to ogle the MC.

What most humans call real life is fake. It's not real.
Humans ditched Real Life time ago, they replaced it with a Virtual Illusion full of civilization, laws, rules, ethics, morals.
Humans exchanged "having a real life" with "being good so I can be rewarded in the afterlife."
Ironically most videogames are more real than the illusions of the players' lives.
Yes he is. He just needed a timeout because life wasn't exactly nice to him recently. And i don't mean "i'm in lockdown and bored" not nice. I mean "family members dying" not nice.

and once again, radio silence - would be good to know how PW is doing and if possible, where he is at with any progress. i don't think i can handle this getting another "Abandoned" tag in 2 months.

Demanding a weekly update on progress is simply crossing the line for my taste. If you had read any of paperworks postings what has happened and his current state of mind etc you would know better than making demands like such.

pretty sure you misunderstood what i was saying; I wasn't demanding anything - i wrote to see first how he is doing, and if there was any status since he said he was slowly getting back to it again. but you do you.
I don't see any harm in asking, since technically the last game update was in march and PW's last personal update was just over three weeks ago. Any game status updates would be nice to see, specially to compare the progress to the march update. But I'm sure more than that everyone wouldn't mind PW just dropping a "hey, I'm doing fine" or something.

I reacted to you asking almost the exact same thing not a week ago. If he isnt reacting here after a week there is no reason to stir the pot immediately with statements about 'abandoned' and 'radio silence'. He just came back to things so expecting any kind of immediate progress and asking for progress status is just in bad taste.

Yeah, it's obviously completely unreasonable to want something as crazy as proof of life from someone who's still accepting money for development.
I sympathize with the fact that he lost someone, I really do. But I personally find it unacceptable that he took money for months on end when he evidently did no work on the game in that period. And just to be clear here, I had been a patron of his since the second or third update of the first version of the game.
The proper course of action would've been to make an announcement and/or pause the patreon. I have no idea why everyone on here is just willing to excuse the fact that he didn't.
