Thanks for the advice and insights—I really appreciate it! I’ve only been exploring Daz3D for a couple of months, so there’s still a lot for me to learn, but I’m enjoying the journey so far.

I’m curious—what caused your project to stall? Was it more about technical challenges or just a lack of time? Either way, I know how demanding these projects can be, so I hope you’re able to return to it someday if you feel inspired.

Kudos to you for your game! Your characters look great.
If you don’t mind me asking, how long does it usually take for you to release a new version? And how many renders can you typically accomplish in a month?

As for Amy’s plotline, thanks for the suggestions but I’ve been thinking about something completely new and intreging, may be a scenario where she explores her identity, becoming a lesbian where she hangs out with beautiful girls like herself and progressing into a becoming a 'bull dyke'... or even an "outspoken" transgender?
...kidding, just me having fun with ideas! ;)
In reality, I’m leaning towards a more 'boring' path, the idea of her finishing her studies, moving in with Hank, and embarking on a new career feels like a good mix of realistic development, hopefully without being too dull. Of course, with some twists to keep things interesting!

Regarding her appearance, I think you’re absolutely right—it’s almost impossible to replicate her look exactly, especially since she was created in HS2, which has a completely different comics-like aesthetic compared to Daz3D’s more realistic style. I also see this project as a standalone reinterpretation rather than trying to clone the original vision. Every creator brings their unique perspective, so differences are inevitable, and I think that’s part of the fun.

I also plan to start a Patreon page soon to do polls and gather feedback from supporters. It can be really helpful, having others weigh in might give it some extra depth.

I guess that, being inspired by Paperwork's Amy, you will end up with your unique project and character, which is great.

I usually publish updates once every three months. My last update took longer because it was a complete game overhaul, but the new content itself also took about three months. During that time, I created 2,100 renders and 380 animations. However:

  • Some of them are just different camera angles.
  • If you've played my game, you know that you can toggle pubic hair and armpits. To achieve this, I create separate images for pubic hair and armpits and apply them over the main render. All of these images are included in the total count of 2,100 renders.
Don't publish your release too early. I suggest making your first release when you have 500-600 renders and at least one hot scene. Test it very thoroughly, as the first impression and initial comments in your future game thread are quite important.

It's been health issues, but people on F95 always diss "health issues" like it's an excuse, so let's say lack of time and distracted by an excess of pain. ;)

Thanks! It’s a mixture of the original Amy and my attempt to make her more realistic while matching the Daz3D style.

zegamez
Thanks so much! I really appreciate this valuable information—especially since I was planning for my first version of the game to have fewer than 100 renders. Your advice gives me a lot to think about!

L7Bear
Oh, I see. I hope you’re doing better now! Take care of your health—it’s the most important thing. When you're ready, I hope you can come back and work on a project.

Hi everyone!

I’m glad to share that meanwhile I’ve come up with the official title for the game: "All About Amy"! ✨

As promised, here’s the Patreon poll where you can vote to help shape Amy’s look and be part of her creation:

IMO the options all look roughly the same. Like, I see differences, but they are so minimal.

Hi again everyone,

I’ve created a dev diary thread to post updates about my game, as I don’t want to dedicate this thread solely to it and make too much noise about it here)))
https://f95zone.to/threads/dev-diary-all-about-amy.241356/

I’ll still check in on this thread from time to time, but for now, the focus will be on the dev diary thread.
I’d be happy if you’d join me there!

And Thanks for the warm welcome you gave me here! :)

I understand, but that’s because I’ve already envisioned Amy’s character in a specific way. However, there’s still some degree of freedom I wanted to share with you all to help shape some important details.
I understand. The thing is just that I look at the pictures and see almost no difference between "medium" and "very large" boob size. And this goes basically for all of your polls.

note: I don't think I can follow your content on Patreon without paying at least USD$5 per month.

That's perfectly fine if that's the audience you want, but if you're interested in the opinions of broke-ass muther-frickers (or otherwise not willing to spend cash money) like me I think Patreon usually also has an option for people to "follow" without paying (although not being eligible to paid tiers polls, etc.)

Your "Amy" looks lovely. I'm curious to see what sort of story you can create for her.

Correct.
And I have bookmarked their Patreon despite being a free member.
Yet, I am not able to follow as a free member, and thus must remember to use the bookmark.
(Not that I check Patreon very often anyway, but I assume some people do.)

Hey L7Bear, thanks and no worries! I totally get it—Patreon will mainly be relevant once the game is out, for those who want it early, extra content, or to take part in specific voting polls. And as Cherubin25 mentioned, there are no limitations on Patreon right now.
I really appreciate the community here on f95zone, and I’ll definitely involve you in ideas and post updates because I value your feedback. I just didn’t want to clutter the thread dedicated to Paperwork, so I’ve created a separate one for 'All About Amy'.

Cherubin25
You're right, the difference might not be as clear with the dark top. But trust me, there is a difference;) I’ll make sure to keep that in mind for future polls. Thanks for the feedback!

I think for things like this a Render in a skimpy bikini or topless would be great. After all, Project Sage was a game with heavy exhibitionism-tendencies, so seeing her with less clothing is something which would happen eventually anyway.

Anyone can share Amy's character card?
Hello! I'd like to make some clarification about Amy's card. It doesn't exist.
(paperwork has been redesigning the model from version to version)
I know this because I've been trying to create my own version of Amy and restart the project.

I went through the entire feed on Patreon where paperwork was sharing their work and found this screenshot.

I ended up creating my version of Amy, and then my friend and I refined it. It turned out to be almost an exact replica of Amy. I also have maps and characters.

Then I switched to learning DAZ 3D, and the project was put on hold. Perhaps we'll continue the work at some point.
If it's of interest to the community, I plan to share the source material.

Hi everyone,

As a fan of Project Sage like all of you, it’s been hard seeing the game stopped so abruptly. I feel like we deserve a continuation of Amy’s story. I honestly thought someone would pick it up, but since no one has, I’m seriously considering doing it myself.

The original thread has died out, but for the fans who are still here, I think it’s worth exploring a continuation.
Here are some render tryouts to depict Amy — sry for poor quality.

Cheers and wishing you all a Happy New Year! View attachment 4411451 View attachment 4411452 View attachment 4411453 View attachment 4411454 View attachment 4411455

On behalf of myself, I would like to thank Gr@ff for his efforts to revive the project. I will definitely follow your work. It is important not to stop at what has been achieved, and then everything will work out!

Maybe someone here can help me, some months ago, on this thread, i come about a "remake" i think. A fan had redone the first part of the story with an updated look for the model. I can't seem to find the download link i had spotted back then. anyone know what i'm talking about and can help?
