this game has been in development for 6-7 years to milk donation money. What do you think?Just curious, if the game will ever finish is vc planned or not?
a lot of patreon based game devs milk the audience slow is more financially beneficial afterall we all know it, but it does mean having time to polish up and release really strong quality i suppose, though one can improve on things forever without a single releaseThis game has less than 20% of the current planned enemy content. This is after 5 years of "development". At the current rate, it will take at least 20 years to get that content in game.
New planned content is added every month. And that's not counting all the other game elements such as story, stages, combat mechanics, RPG elements...

i really miss grimhelm this dev knew how to make quality games and in reasonable time, and instead of milking, made multiple different great games all high quality, next better than last, and teased sequels and everythingthis game has been in development for 6-7 years to milk donation money. what i do is give them something once a year towards the end of the yearits a good tactic by the dev honestly, drip feed content at the end of each month, rake in the NEET bucks from people who forgot they supported them. Unless they start to get less money why would they stop?

Hey guys!
Expect a flurry of posts over the next couple weeks as I catch up on things. I had intended to post this update much earlier this month, but I was unfortunately stuck on mobile data until the 14th and just got my PC back a few days ago, so I mostly focused on all the admin stuff related to the move (see the "Japan Update" section if you're not sure of the backstory here).
Anyways, the team has still been working, and I didn't want the November progress update to be super long, so I'm still posting the October progress update now. You can expect another progress update for November at the end of the month, as well as new PO releases, at which point things will likely be back to the regular schedule.

H Scene Progress
We added the first Ghoul scene with Onyx in the October release, and since then Penapsquat has completed secondary animations / physics and fixes for the penetration elements. We extended the Looter H scene with Onyx in the October release as well, and Kame has now completed transitions for this scene.
Penapsquat has also completed a 2x Male Cop + Onyx scene that should be available soon, which you can check out a preview of above!
Japan Update
If you're new or haven't been following along, we're in the midst of expanding to Japan to better secure our future against censorship and the whims of western payment processors. The good news is I've arrived and things are going very well. There's not much bad news at all, but it did take a couple weeks more than expected to get internet connected and for me to receive my PC from overseas. I've also been kept very busy with administrative and legal stuff, but I'm all set up at my new place and we're working on getting an office as part of our obligations for the move.
By next month we should have the JP company formed, and will hopefully begin posting releases on JP sites like Fantia.
So, while this post is late, the team has been working and this month is still mostly on track. Expect an Inner Circle tier release within the next week, and the November progress update and monthly release soon after that.

Slime Mimic Sculpt Complete!
Demonu4 finished his sculpt for the Slime Mimic in October, and TK is currently working on the low poly model and rig for it now. The Slime Mimic is one of multiple mimic-type enemies that we've shown previously that will be triggered by opening or being in proximity to a trapped chest. This version in particular is based off the Slime enemy, who will envelop the chest before morphing into this form.

Tentacle Rigs!
Gifdoozer and TK collaborated a lot in October to develop a solid tentacle rigging solution for Maya. Gif has a lot of practical experience with animating tentacles in Blender already, but since we use Maya for PO (and the two are notoriously incompatible) we needed to develop similar tools. With TK's technical experience in Maya they were able to develop features that Gifdoozer knew were important for streamlining the process.
These techniques will get a lot of use throughout the game, with their first application likely being for the various mimic enemies are working on currently.
Unity Engine Fixes
I mentioned it in the October release post, but we spent a lot of time in October fixing regressions from the Unity 6 upgrade. The worst issue was caused by Unity enabling real-time global illumination in our scenes -- something we don't use at all due to our animated shading style. This caused players with older CPUs to experience crashing after the main menu. It took me and all our programmers probably a full week to solve it, with the breakthrough being when Mr. Kittyhawk parsed the instructions being sent to the CPU and tracing it back to code developed by a company that made the lighting algorithms Unity is using for their realtime global illumination.
We also had to upgrade Unity yet again due to a major security issue with all previous versions of Unity since 2017. You may have seen a lot of other Unity games make a similar fix in the past few weeks.
We've been working on another fix this month for players having issues with virtualization. This one is causing the game's characters to disappear for players using certain virtualization apps to play on their non-Windows systems.

FK/DK-Doll Poses
Demonu4 completed a bunch of poses for the Splicer girls in October featuring their new weapons made by Kame!
They are also being added as enemies to the game, so we've been working on their combat animations as well. Expect to see some progress there in the November progress update at the end of the month.

XXXIV Update Preview
This is probably one you weren't expecting. Back when we were first suspended from Patreon we started on a rule 34 project called "XXXIV". The concept was to make rule 34 animation content using character models we sculpt in our style. While it never fully came to fruition, we did complete some character sculpts at the time.
Now that we're further along with PO, and with team members gaining experience and taking on new roles, things are looking better for us to work more on this kind of content in the future. While I wouldn't expect regular updates quite yet, we do have work to show on an Olga (from Kuro-Inu fame) scene animated by Kame and rendered by Gifdoozer.
Expect a post on that very soon!

Limbo worked on designs for a new Snake enemy in October! He finished a set of combat animation gifs as well, some of which you can check out above. Demonu4 has already nearly finished the 3D sculpt for this guy, which you'll see the work for in the November progress update at the end of the month. As it turns out, we'll likely be doing two -- a smaller human-scale constrictor type variant and a much larger variant.

We're further along with him now, but in October Brum completed the Helidrone enemy's model and textures! The Helidrone is a machine class enemy that is spawned via a mechanical "nest", which you can see above. You can choose to target the nest before more are spawned, but doing so will buff nearby machines. Expect combat animation previews in the upcoming November progress update.

The concept was to make rule 34 animation content using character models we sculpt in our style. While it never fully came to fruition, we did complete some character sculpts at the time.
Now that we're further along with PO, and with team members gaining experience and taking on new roles, things are looking better for us to work more on this kind of content in the future. While I wouldn't expect regular updates quite yet, we do have work to show on an Olga (from Kuro-Inu fame) scene animated by Kame and rendered by Gifdoozer.
