its a good tactic by the dev honestly, drip feed content at the end of each month, rake in the NEET bucks from people who forgot they supported them. Unless they start to get less money why would they stop?

That is the very thing I have been pointing out in a few previous posts of mine. Until there is a significant downturn in revenue, there is nothing that will change with this scam. When patreon kicked them to the curb there was a massive uptick in production for a month or two as they had to take the scam elsewhere.

It is clear this scam could be developed faster. The reason it is a scam in my eyes is that the entire foundation is built on a pay per month model with the hope that some point 30-50 years down the road maybe a full game materialized from this "small side project". If this is a small side project, what the hell would Malise and the Machine have been?
