That is the very thing I have been pointing out in a few previous posts of mine. Until there is a significant downturn in revenue, there is nothing that will change with this scam. When patreon kicked them to the curb there was a massive uptick in production for a month or two as they had to take the scam elsewhere.
It is clear this scam could be developed faster. The reason it is a scam in my eyes is that the entire foundation is built on a pay per month model with the hope that some point 30-50 years down the road maybe a full game materialized from this "small side project". If this is a small side project, what the hell would Malise and the Machine have been?
