just played and it really looks better than vanilla, could have some options like blocking the unlimited scrolling features though

Yeah, the new "update" isn't an actual update. It's Tamperung's mod and requires 0.2.12. Fek did acknowledge this mod on his Patreon though. I'd recommend anybody interested in the game to get the mod, because it doesn't just add new features, it also fixes bugs that make the game unplayable for many.

(base game won't work if it's installed on a path containing non-ansii characters, base game won't work if not using US (or similar enough) localization settings)

should probably be a different thread then, probs gonna confuse a lot of people thinking it should be a new update for vanilla.

Edit: wait there is a separate thread? why wasnt it uploaded there? Now people got to comb through the thread for an download link for 0.2.12

Rack 2 has always been known to be pretty "volatile". It breaks easily. Especially if you have old data in the data folder (which, as I remember, is in your user profile folder).

We can read.
The issue is, it refers to this thread to download the game. But the game has been replaced by the mod.
I asked the moderators to replace the mod with the game again, since the mod has it's own page.

I confirm, the win64 version is not the game is there, it is the mod atm.

Is there a way to stop your character from going invisible when you zoom into them when they are having sex? Super tired of this happening for no good reason....

There is a reason. You cannot see through your character.
Seriously, I honestly don't remember if there is a setting for that. But maybe the mod developers can include that :)

100% agree, least the one you said "abandoned" it, some don't even do that and just stop doing updates and let people think it's still on-going. Pretty sure a lot do this on purpose to drag out the donations. Know one game that got $200 monthly, dunno if still that, and they would update it like every 6 months and add like 1 scene with like 200 words and maybe 1 new picture.

How do you bring back the drone? It's enabled in the options but it doesn't show up. I've started a new game and already had a tour of the facility.

The main menu is a tad buggy as the main save file overlaps with a new tag called "Character Name", meaning I can't delete it unless I go to the game's files and delete all files with my character's name (then it shows up correctly on the menu but it creates a new game instead).

Is there a way to refresh my clients aside from closing and re-opening the game? The amount of NPCs that dislike a lot of things and have male-centric preferences feel extremely lopsided...

PS: I'm using vanilla v0.2.12 with Tamperung's mod v8.

Hey folks! The next update's still not quite ready for launch, but I wanted to keep up with the regular check-ins; I'm still alive and still cleaning things up for the multiplayer test launch!
In the meantime, if you haven't already seen it, I recommend checking out the R2: Reinvented project - a fan mod that adds some cool new features to the game:
