This. Some folks seem to not following time as I believe devs are trying to portray: MC starts to wake/recover from coma after 10yrs. After that there is time spent in physical rehabilitation (learning to walk, etc.). Then he ventures off to try to find himself, starts a hobby that initiates a passion and time to develop, then creates a business, and builds it. This all takes time, no one day after the "10yrs". This, I believe, is the intended theory that's absolutely plausible imho. No?

All that is true, but at the end the lady does say you killed her son 10 years ago. Meaning the car accident was 10 years ago from then... kind of conflicting timelines.

Just a few relevant counter-points for you to consider, since these are only weaknesses if you didn't fully understand what was going on:

First... the woman who shows up at our door definitely says more than ten. Not sure why you perceived that as precisely ten.

Second... if you're in a coma for several years it takes a lot longer than a few days or even a few months to rehabilitate. This often takes many years and that's assuming you're able to recover at all. 2005 was when he fell into his coma... 2015 was when he woke up in the hospital-- that's ten years right there and this is never shown as the "present time." In fact, after his recovery is explained and we get caught up there is then a screen that says "Present Day."

The story repeatedly mentions (explicitly) that several more years have passed since he woke up in the hospital... setting aside the numerous glaring implications of this such as several relevant time-jumps... discovering that he literally learned to walk again and launched a successful career... etc.



I mean... there were only two arcs in the entire chapter: the main character's accident/recovery, and his new predicament with the triplets. Everything else is simply a relevant part of these two main arcs that need to be shown to understand how we got to the point. Take it from someone who has been writing these types of stories for a little under a decade: I'm no expert or anything... just a hobbyist... but the last thing you'd want to do is sit there and boringly explain every little detail in-between. When you write a story... you are to assume that the people reading are able to put the pieces together and comprehend what is written.

Yeah same for me. It reminds me of the game Our Fate (sadly abandonned). I always want to act like a possessive bastard when I launch the game but I finish playing the good dad, not even wanting to have any sex with the girl and I'm sure that my first playthrough of radiant will be the same. I'll compensate by being a dick with the employee and Bernie lol

Please don't take this the wrong way but it's rather commonplace for these forums to analyze the shit out of titles we hold both in high regard as well as resent, so polite debate shouldn't be a shocker, really, imho. No harm, no foul. It is refreshing that we are discussing a title that the majority here seem to appreciate.

Screens look awesome. 600+MB for a 0.1, that's interesting. The fact that post #2 includes a walkthrough kinda worries me (I hate convoluted navigation and repeated scenes), but I'll give it a try.

I know it's just a 0.1, but how much is there? the previews look fantastic and the dev note makes me hopeful that there's enough here to be worth a look. I just don't want to get burned by blueballs by another 0.1 with not much to show.

Not much sex happening, only on the introduction, but a really cool story setup, with what i consider a very interesting ending of the introducion

NO actually every statement I recall was OVER 10 years. The actual intro post accident states "coma for 10" then goes on about rehab and building a buisness. What it does not do is give you a solid date on how long the post-coma times is. Even the woman at the door says you killed my son over 10 years ago. I don't see the contradictions?

I have to say this was a very nice 1st release from you two and this is a must play for me. Also i know when Dammed announced this about a week or so ago some were doubting him since now he is working on two games now. However after seeing this i think all will be fine since i think he will now be able to do just make games soon.

I am curious and if this has been answered and i missed it i am sorry but some Devs like to say they try to release a new version every X weeks if possible or is it too early to know this yet ? Thank you for your hard work on this game and cannot wait for the next update.

Great Game, only thing that annoys me are the 3 different Hair- and Eyecolors. If they are Twins, they should probably look more alike.
