Speak for yourself!!!!! Some of us have been in covid quarantine since April and edging to this games first installment, in the same room, only to break for eating and shits, waiting to explode. You know how hard it is to cook dinner with one hand for 6 months???? I looked out my window in July only to see my hot neighbor sunbathing in a bikini....I almost popped and all would have been lost. This isn't too extreme, is it????

Since april, I dropped 134 lbs (funny that that's almost exactly my initial weight in kilograms), learned to play guitar from nothing to playing Bach's Bourrée, added a total of 174 pages to 3 of my novels and live in a different country among other, less significant things. I'm not bragging, I'm just attempting to drive the point home that:
a.) anyone could've used this time for personal growth while still making the time to fap to other VNs in their quarantine boredom
b.) it's absolutely incredulous that it takes more time to drop a couple hundred renders to continue an already written story (spare me the hardware requirement speech, I work in IT), than for a person to basically completely upend their life and become a new person (ok, 90% of a new person)

Okay, maybe I was bragging just a bit, but I'm so fracking bored while I'm waiting for the update to drop... I'll show myself out.

In all honesty, don't 90% of the games on here take awhile to update? That said, isn't it best to not even bother with a game that's brand new? Unless you can go in not giving a fuck when its updated. Just hit games that have at least 4 to 5 updates and read the thread to make sure there's something worth fapping to. If not, wait for a few more updates. I'm newer to this niche of porn, alot of good games I played were either completed or years into dev...so idk???? That's why i don't give a fuck about Milfy City. I got into it when it was already in its current state, was plenty to fap to, had my fun with it and moved on.

When April arrived I’d been in quarantine for 2 weeks!

As for the whole “be patient” attitude... I’ve been patient, I’ve taken my share of facepalms for trying to calm the tide of resentment and anger. At this point I am weary of the wait. I don’t have anything against these two devs and hope them the best, just wish I was already playing the 3rd release by now instead of still waiting for the second.

The devs, Dammed specifically, are very bad communicators. In Dammed's other game, when it wasn't updated for a very long time, he disappeared from the thread. Missed multiple release dates too, some by a lot.

That is a bad habit, he seems to be active when things are going good but when things go bad its as if he goes into hiding. He hasn't posted in this thread since July, despite still regularly being on this site.

Alorth is a good renderer and animator, so making the renders and animations shouldn't take that long. He regularly updated his other games. Dammed is a good writer, so it shouldn't take him long to write. So, the only conclusions I have as to why it takes so long is they either don't work on the game a lot (potentially because they both have other games), or they aren't good at working as a team thus making them inefficient.

We've been edging to this game since April, that's what I meant....this game initially released in April. And likewise, the quarantine here in the US started Mid March

That was pretty enjoyable and somewhat disappointingly short. Maybe it's just me, but for almost 6k per month I thought you could expect a bit more here, but just reading the last page of this thread it seems like the devs are of the communication lazy side. Normally development fatique doesn't kick in before a few more updates are out. If something comes out at some point it'll be pretty high quality, but with such an update schedule I'm not sure it'll make up for that.

Yes, that's exactly the point, everyone was affected by the pandemic, but did the entire world stop for everyone? No. Some people handle personal issues better than others. Being understanding is for situations where individuals are getting into unique situations, not when everyone is sharing the same plight...

I like the game but it left me cold as its current ending chafes. I hope and watch, but find other games with more content and updates drawing me farther away.

Most of the people here complaining, complain about how the Devs are milking money or that they are cheating their patrons. When in reality, they're just upset at the long delay.

Those are directly complaining about the long delay and not accusing the Devs of milking money just need to realize that complaiing about the wait won't change anything.

For some people, it really did. Besides, I'm not explicitly referring to the pandemic. 2020 has been multi-layered in it's awfulness. For alot of people, the only reason they get up in the morning is because doing so could lead to poverty or starvation.

And I generally try be civil in these things, but that last sentence is utter nonsense. Infuriatingly so. Just because the amount of people struggling goes up, doesn't mean you should be less empathic. That's just justifying your own callousness.
