I realize 2 months was a stretch but at the rate they are going seems very slow. I know they have their own things but I am sure they would get a ton more support for the game if they lay out a timeline and stuck to it.
I really enjoy Radiant and I think this VN has great potential, but we don't have a deadline for the next update and for good reason.
The last time they put out a deadline - it slipped due to things beyond their control (COVID and life can impact the timelines of every one of us).
You'd be surprised how 'understanding' some of the visitors to this page were (for some, you will see their facepalms as their commentary on almost any post that does not slam the developers).
Alorth and Sir D owe those who support them (Patreons, Subscribestar etc), not anyone who comes here to take the VN for free.
I'm one of a number of people who asked them to spend more time working on Radiant, less time trying to address trolls on F95 and other pirate sites and to not bother with a deadline.
I'm sure you'd be shocked to find that many of the same F95 visitors who were critical of them for missing deadlines for the last Radiant rev are now critical of them for not giving them a deadline.
The two creators are involved in at least 4 other projects and, while I don't support those projects (as a Patreon), I Do support them keeping their commitments to other Patreons and other creators. After all - if they did not do that, why would any paying supporter think that they would treat Radiant differently.
So - patience is in order (and it's not like we can't find something else to enjoy on F95, right?).
I'm getting ready to enjoy several other VNs I've found here on F95. If I find one that I enjoy enough to continue with, I'll support the creators since we all know that computer hardware and VN assets for example are not free and I don't expect to get something for nothing. That 'free lunch' some are always looking for - someone else is Always paying for it.
If you find a VN you enjoy enough to continue playing, please consider supporting them via Patreon/Subscribestar or their desired support portal - after all good creators should be rewarded. We loose too many VNs with good/great potential due to a lack of $ support.
