i do id like to complain too is that okay. why do u defend these devs?
I did not "defend the devs" here. I explicitely stated that I am not happy at all with the development myself. I just resent the notion of anybody telling anybody else what to do with their money. Especially when you're doing it on behalf of others who can speak up (or cancel their subscription) themselves. And I resent people making inane arguments even if it is for valid points.

you see alot of people dont speak up we dont like fighting the only reason i even responded was cause im already in a bad mood. most of the time i wont speak up unless i really feel some type of way. yeah judging someone on how they spend their money is whatever but why criticize people who criticize the dev who takes so much time to put out an update.
its like saying u cant criticize simps for being simps but a simp hurts the normal everyday guy when it comes to inflateing a womans ego

I don't see any reason to take anybody critizising the update schedule as my ally just because they agree on a point with me. This isn't an "A vs B - pick your team" battle. If you talk nonsense I will point out that you talk nonsense even though you may agree on something with me. And I wasn't critizising him for critizising the devs but for attacking the patreons as disrespectful without any proper reason.

I will refrain from commenting too much on the (in more than one way) absolutely unsuitable analogy in the last sentence.

dude don't even try with that guy, he's one of the biggest si.p on this site i mean he has over 3k posts in the last 3 yrs that's almost 3 posts per day, imagine havin no life and be here to defend scammy devs...
Please get your maths right. It's roughly one and a half years I am on this forum. So I may have even less of a life than you calculated. Still I tend to have more of one than people who feel the need to point out how they absolutely certainly have one.

It's not really scam if they deliver a decent update at the end of the process, there are devs who just haven't posted anything for quite some time or just put little effort into the game and get their money.

I get that people are frustrated by the long development cycles but the amount of hate I see devs getting is very strange. Canceling your subscription until for a couple of month is always an option and then just resubscribe when the update comes. If you start threatening the developer with shit and making the whole thing a big deal, you should probably both put your money into something else or find something better to do. I'm a big fan of VNs and have played/pledged to a lot of different devs but it's still nothing more than a game and if you've invested in a developer that hasn't delivered on the promise they made, cancel your subscription and move on.

(it's ok to be mad that it's taking long but just relax and the update will eventually arrive)

Will there be any scene like that with Madison is this update? View attachment 1283030
Maybe on the MadDark path? You already crossed that line with her last update, so it's not like you'd need to ease her into it. Though, I imagine, she's going to be much more timid after that. She may start lashing out more though, who knows?

I'm assuming you got that scene on the last update?

I don't think money is the problem for anyone who actually subscribe, it's more about promising 3 months worth of work each update and then take almost a year instead. It's sad, this game has alot of potential, or any game where Alorth do the renders for that matter. Things in life happens, it happens to everyone, death, injuries, depression, stress, it's normal, but it's even worse for devs who reach a high number of patreons for some reason. It's sad, I'm 100% sure that this game would generate 7000-8000 patreons by now if the work was done at the pace it was promised. I don't have a problem paying for subscriptions, but it's more of a principle not supporting things that shouldn't be supported until it deserves it.

Yes that is understandable and with Radiant, it's not that bad but with some other devs. An example is ICSTOR, where people have supposedly shown up to his house to threaten him because of how slow he was with Milfy City... It's obviously not as extreme most of the time but it's still a problem.

Seriously? Man, I like porn games as much as the next guy, but who is sad enough to get that upset over a delay.
