I may be wrong but the main difference between this game and those others is the fact that this dev keeps active on Patreon promising a delivery. Ecchi Sensei had an 18 month long period to release something or get BTFO'd.

Just dropping in to let everyone know that I'll be announcing the release date in a few days time (I'm waiting for the next batch of renders to be delivered so I can make a more accurate estimate). The game is not abandoned, the chapter is very close to being done, and this has been discussed as recently as the 13th of this month on Patreon.
If you're unsure/skeptical, my DM's are always open here or on Discord. I wanted to apologize for not commenting here as much as I probably should. I used to be very active here, and wish that were still the case... but if you take a quick look around... it's not exactly the most welcoming place towards us.
Still, I know that's not everyone here, and I appreciate those of you who remain cordial/I apologize that you don't get to hear from me and Alorth that often. If you join our Discord, we're very much active there every day and we'd love to have you. When I announce the release date, it'll come with some important news you will all be very happy about (it's related to the game's release window).

Can't say I blame you. People have been waiting a long time/I'd probably feel the same way. It won't be the norm, but I'd rather show that it won't be by releasing Ch5 (and future chapters) in a much more timely manner, rather than debating or arguing it.I believe it when I see it...

You can't blame people for being critical towards you or your work. If you check this thread after the first release it was mostly praises, but people changed their minds slowly after all the delays, excuses and everything that happened with chapters two and three, specially considering you reached the Patreon millstone which meant you were going to have shorter times and it still took longer to make. People are mad, and for good reason. It takes a lot of time and effort to regain that trust, and not commenting at all doesn't help either, quite the opposite.
Oh hey, if you're a dev, could you perhaps answer my question, please? This might be some ways off, but I was wondering what the "true edition" patch will be adding that the "taboo edition" patch currently available doesn't provide.

I literally have no clue. Taboo edition already adds incest and age stuff, so what "risqué content" is there left to add back in? Like I said already, I can't imagine this game having scat or snuff or whatever.Make an educated guess...

It's been a few millennia since that last release...
I will always discourage personal attacks, it isn't the way. However you must understand why people are so skeptical, specially since the same promises already were done with Polarity. While I don't have personal hatred towards someone over a game, it still bothers me a bit that barely no comunication is present on patreon, not even a small report, only wallpapers are there. With all due respect that's pretty odd, specially with so many hardworking devs out there who get a tenth of the money support you guys have.
Again, I discourage people to personal harass someone over a game, as well many people simply troll and expect nonstop free stuff and burnout from a dev without even investing a cent or even care about common sense. But at the same time I hope you understand that, the amount of red flags you guys had created an amount of distrust that is hard, if not impossible to recover from, and I mean it to people with fair and well elaborate concerns over your true commitment to the project.
Personally I believe the game got way too hyped and you guys accommodated to the cash flowing in, but who am I to judge about that. I just know that me personally I won't ever put a cent on this game, even if the development finally kicks in. There are devs who show more engagement, not only in development, but in comunication with their fans. Not only to gain fans, but more importantly, to retain a loyal fan base. I would say good luck to future endeavors, but the fact you're still gaining money on Polarity's patreon page and monetization wasn't stoppped still bothers me.

It is one thing it took a year, but the lack of communication to me is more telling. Very few comments on the goings of development and the progress and very little reason for a while to believe it was in active development.
I support several games on Patreon and Subscribestar. I played each update of your game when they came out and I really liked them, especially the darker stuff with Maddie such as the spanking scene. I would like to suggest that the darker route be developed further and that there be more opportunities to spank Maddie and also to be able to spank Olivia. I would have also liked to see Maddie's face after spanking her the longest possible number of times in the existing scene. Having the option to either spank the girl who punched the MC in the balls (I forget her name) or convince her mother to spank her would also be nice.
I want to support your game, but I am not going to unless it seems realistic that there will be new content in a reasonable amount of time. If your next update is good and you get onto a regular schedule where you release new updates every 1-3 months like the games I am currently supporting then I could see myself supporting Radiant too. I suspect that many other people on here feel the same way.
