Yes. By going a very specific dark route, with specific choices, her first time is non-consensual.There's a forced variant?
Well, I have to replay now. Thank you.Yes. By going a very specific dark route, with specific choices, her first time is non-consensual.
To repost what I wrote, because I'm annoyed. (And it will never be as well written as it was the first time...)Well that's really annoying, I had posts cleaned up by the mods that had absolutely nothing to do with politics and took me a while to write out (they were feedback on the game btw). Thanks for that.
I mean... sure, but it's not a forced harem (god I hate those), technically every girl is optional. I just want to be with my pretty, $girls_age year old daughters man, although Allison makes me more than a little uncomfortable at times (which is a shame since she has the best assets). Why is the writer torturing me like this.Well it is a harem style game, I guess it's kind of expected maybe?
There's ditzy, and there's mentally defective (I'd use the proper word but mods might clean my post again). I had the same issue with DMD.As for Allison I think the devs were aiming for the ditzy blonde trope. and I agree she is a little unnerving at times.
Yeah, sadly this game will always lean towards/be strongest for those on the harem path. Unfortunately, between the tiny amount of people who don't go full harem in a game like this and the sheer amount of extra development work that would be required to (coherently) make platonic or triplet only paths... it's just not really feasible to go too hard with it. So in that regard, it makes sense to nudge players towards harem. To repost what I wrote, because I'm annoyed. (And it will never be as well written as it was the first time...)
I'm glad I never tried out the darker paths, because by the sounds of it they get pretty... heavy. Although given some of the other content in the game I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I tried out one of the less nice options early on out of curiosity with a rollback and yea... I just like to be nice I guess.
This makes some of the choices in the game pretty difficult though, the developer really tries his best to get you to have sex with as many of the girls as possible. I knew immediately that I wanted to turn down Brooke, because I was really only interested in being exclusive with the triplets, but the game gives you like four ways back in and every successive turn down just makes you feel worse and worse. So I am now in a friends with benefits relationship against my will. And it's not just Brooke either, their backstories definitely make the girls a lot more interesting, but they really backfire when you don't want to be interested in them.

If I had to pick only one girl though, Olivia is so far ahead of everyone else it's not even close, and was from the start. Maybe there'll be an exclusive end for her (and others) one day, I'd definitely do a playthrough of it.

It makes the relationship both feel incredibly one sided (she's really not able to be there on the same level emotionally, in contrast to someone like Olivia for example), and like I'm taking advantage of someone who cannot know better or think for themselves.
I can fully understand and even agree with a mandatory triplet harem, it makes the most sense narratively, excluding any of them is asking for trouble. And the others are all, seemingly, optional already (if you have the heart for it). It just feels a little bad that Allison is the way she is (not enough to make me stop though).Yeah, sadly this game will always lean towards/be strongest for those on the harem path. Good call. Always makes me nuts when devs spend roughly equal time on the harem path and each of N singleton paths, for the like five guys that want less pussy in their ero-fantasy games. Being a completionist, I feel like I have to replay everything to see that content, which is rarely worth the effort. A better choice is to finish the harem, then if some very noisy single-path fans are willing to cough up big bucks to keep working on the game, add those paths as a background project while you work on your new game.between the tiny amount of people who don't go full harem in a game like this and the sheer amount of extra development work that would be required to (coherently) make platonic or triplet only paths... it's just not really feasible to go too hard with it. Very well put, sir. I feel the same way about Allison; I think "ditzy" went too far. She has gaps in her cognition that should be impossible for a teenaged girl with a healthy mind. The difference between "taboo/incest" and "abuse/rape" starts getting pretty fine at that point. There's ditzy, and there's mentally defective (I'd use the proper word but mods might clean my post again). Don't worry, ppl like that regularly pop up on this and the other forum. It's best to ignore them, I guess. Are you ok? You did take your meds today, right?
Ok. I've tried using the walkthrough, but maybe I'm not using correctly. If I want to put Olivia on the 'Darkness' path(which I assume is where she needs to be to get this variant), what do I need to do? Because choosing every 'Red' option as it comes up hasn't been working for me.Yes. By going a very specific dark route, with specific choices, her first time is non-consensual.
What I did was reject her in chapter 4, then the use and deceive option in chapter 5 and in chapter 6, when she tells you that she loves you, say that you know.Ok. Depends on how the games are structured. Harem games, sure. Best not split dev time. But even then, I say less girls total but with more development for each one is hella nice. A harem game with 6 girls stand a better chance of developing them than one with a dozen girls for example.Good call. Sorry. It's my bad for taking the thread in that direction. Apologies to everyone who had stuff removed. To repost what I wrote, because I'm annoyed.
She's the only one that doesn't make me feel gross (and all my daughters are 18, in my version). If I had to pick only one girl though, Olivia is so far ahead of everyone else it's not even close, and was from the start.
Oh, DMD stans get Big Mad if you even dare suggest that maybe D isn't fully capable of consenting because she's very clearly neither mentally nor emotionally developed. (Yes, I also made this mistake.)There's ditzy, and there's mentally defective. I had the same issue with DMD.
You might be on to something there. I really struggled with answering the "age" question; at that point Allison had made the biggest impression on me, but Madison's physique just isn't a thing for a pubescent kid. Appearance wise the other two could pass for anything from 15 to 19, maybe even 20 years old. I think I ended up picking 16 because appearance-wise it was barely plausible with Madison and seemed reasonable for the other two, and every year older made Allison seem more mentally disabled. I decided seeing Olivia as "unusually mature jailbait" bothered me a lot less than seeing Allison as "disturbingly oblivious 18". And fuck it, it's a taboo game anyway.Truthfully, I think the problem with Allison and several other characters is that the devs view them as X age, but X doesn't meet Patreon's (or F95's) standards. A just-going-through-puberty Allison might actually be the way she is, but that's obviously not going to fly pretty much anywhere.
To be honest, I re-downloaded the game without the taboo patch when it gave me a shot at Brooke's daughter. That's way too taboo for me. In the patched game I rejected her anyway, but Jesus...I decided seeing Olivia as "unusually mature jailbait" bothered me a lot less than seeing Allison as "disturbingly oblivious 18". I picked 16 as well because it seemed the most accurate (and not something that upsets me). They are very clearly not 18 and only defaulted as such because of Patreon, but nor are they undeveloped, young teenagers (ew). Also, 16 may not be Patreon legal, but it is legal, and it's certainly not more morally wrong than incest is. I disagree that it's barely plausible for Maddison though, I think you might be underestimating growth.I think I ended up picking 16 because appearance-wise it was barely plausible with Madison and seemed reasonable for the other two, and every year older made Allison seem more mentally disabled.
Yeah... when she was first introduced my reaction was "wow, she's adorable". Then the option to peak on the girl's friend appeared and I was like... oh no. It's a good thing this game makes every path optional and you can hard shut that door.To be honest, I re-downloaded the game without the taboo patch when it gave me a shot at Brooke's daughter. I don't think Maddison is not mature enough to consent to stuff, but she's also not (yet) interested, thus I am less interested in her than Olivia (who is frankly impossible to resist). That will probably change later, hopefully they do it well but it's going to be a bit unbelievable I think. The only perhaps believable plot line I could see is she becomes jealous of Olivia, or wants to be closer to Olivia again and feels she may be able to through you.Among the MC's daughters, though, the only one plausibly mature enough to be able consent to stuff is Olivia.
It's going to have to be done well, and with sensitivity. I don't really have any basis to agree or disagree with the assertion that Madison's emotionally/sexually prepared for a sexual relationship with her father — two of the three things Allison isn't — but if she's not emotionally/mentally ready to even have a relationship with him, she's either going to act out impulsively and destructively, or have to work through the latter issues before she can possibly deal with the former. If she's next, it's going to happen quickly and mostly out of nowhere. If she's third, they actually have time to build some sort of foundation. Whereas Allison, as written, can't possibly know what she's getting herself into, and unless Olivia can 1) get over her hostility to the idea; and 2) gently walk her through what she's about to do, and the potential consequences thereof, it's still going to feel icky. If they were all in school and there was some sort of sex ed class, it'd make this a lot easier. But I don't get the sense that Radiant intends to extend into a school year.I don't think Maddison is not mature enough to consent to stuff, but she's also not (yet) interested, thus I am less interested in her than Olivia (who is frankly impossible to resist).
