I tried to download Rance 01 and 02. Rance 01 worked perfectly but Rance 02 doesn't work even with Apploc and opening the .exe with Japanese locale and administrator. Am I missing something?

You shouldn't need Japanese locale since this is an officially localized game. Is it possible your anti-virus software even windows defender did a false positive on some of the files in 02? That is what happened to me and others.

When I try to open the .exe it tries to load and then it stops and deletes the .exe.

Remasters. Used the separate downloads for them.

Some guy in /haniho/ on 4chan made a patch to correct some nameshit appearing in 01.
I mean thing like "Jill" or "fiend".
You just need to paste this on your game file.

Quest Magnum isn't even out yet but seems likely for early next year. If you know Japanese you could play IX and X I suppose.

Have you tried updating AppLocale and running it in compatibility mode?

When I try to troubleshoot, it deletes the .exe before I can test it.
