I would say that in the super rare woman who doesn't look very ugly with that haircut, they would have still looked better with another haircut.
They happen to be so pretty that even if you subtract from their beauty score with such an abomination, it is not enough to turn them ugly. Merely less pretty
Eh better than mohawk tho if you put them in the same hairstyles category
Kinda remind me of the Cover girl from cyberpunk game

irrelevant Art has been busy making preparations for the many delights that await us. We've already seen one of Maelys's potential Act V incarnations... but it would be dull to have just the one, wouldn't it?

You can try playing it with the sdk.

Last version of Ren'Py that has 32-bit support as it was removed in 7.5.0

UnRen.bat to extract the rpas as the latest version of the rpa files will give a pickle error.

  1. Download and install Ren'Py sdk.
  2. Download game and extract it into the sdk folder.
  3. Download UnRen and put it in the main game folder.
  4. Run UnRen and option 1 to extract rpa archives.
  5. Delete the rpa archives in the game folder.
  6. Optionally you can delete the lib and renpy folders from the main game folder.
  7. Run sdk
  8. Select Ravanger from the list
  9. Launch Project
Thanks for your help. I enjoyed playing 4.3.12 a lot, so decided to attempt the above procedure for 4.4.1. When I reached step 4, it couldn't find python.exe. I realised that it was probably because the 4.4.1 game's lib folder didn't contain the 32-bit subfolder, so I copied that across from 4.3.12. UnRen then evidently succeeded in finding python.exe, and set to work, but for each .rpa file it came up with the following error messages:

Working in: C:\sporn\Ravager\Ravager-4.4.1-pc\Ravager-4.4.1-pc\game
+ Unpacking "Animations.rpa" - 288863216 bytes
Could not find platform independent libraries <prefix>
Could not find platform dependent libraries <exec_prefix>
Consider setting $PYTHONHOME to <prefix>[:<exec_prefix>]
ImportError: No module named site
....... sorry, could not extract the archive.

Do I need to set this $PYTHONHOME and if so where/how do I do that? Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

I think its because the .exe file is not setting the env variables right, I would recommend you to try to use the renpy engine and export it yourself with 32-bit support, or you could try and compare a native renpy game with 32 bit to ravager and see what's missing. the thing you most compare is the folders (you already did this) and the ravager.py I think?

I think I may have identified what my problem is. Though I copied the 32-bit library from 4.3.12 across to 4.4.1, between those two versions - as well as going 64-bit only - the Python version the game uses was updated from 2.7 (which just about every Ren'Py game I've ever played has used) to 3.9. So I think I need to find and download the 32-bit 3.9 Python library and put it in a folder within lib called py3-windows-i686. Hopefully that shouldn't be too difficult.

Version 4.4.2, Visions & Revisions

Dev Notes

  • We are back to our regular monthly updates! Our writers are all working full-time on Act V, so there will be no new scenes until it is released. But that gives our artists and voice actors room to bring extra sparkle to what is already in place.
  • MVP of this build is our oft-unsung hero Spam! Spam has cut, cleaned, and indexed almost a thousand voice lines for this update, and for what awaits us in v500.
Features

  • Art: Chanwe’s first lesson, remastered (Lubbio).
  • Art: Chanwe’s second lesson, remastered (Lubbio).
  • Art: Cooch’s wolfman fate, remastered (Lubbio).
  • Art: Maelys’s threesome with Heloise, remastered (Lubbio).
  • Art: Maelys’s wolfman fate, remastered (Lubbio).
  • Art: Mother’s dream visitation, remastered (Lubbio).
  • Art: Naho’s bad science scene, remastered (Lubbio).
  • Art: Character art for Enid’s ripped dress (Irrelevant).
  • Animation: Remastered opening animations (Amon Ra).
  • Animation: Remastered and expanded idles for Enid’s standard state (Amon Ra).
  • Animation: Animated idles for Enid’s pregnant state (ten variants, Amon Ra).
  • Animation: Animated idles for Enid’s ripped dress state (ten variants, Amon Ra).
  • Animation: Animated idles for Maelys’s fixed state (two variants, Amon Ra).
  • Voice: Adeline’s reunion, discussing the dragon (two variants, Act V only, Marina Montague).
  • Voice: Adeline’s reunion, discussing the past (two variants, Act V only, Marina Montague).
  • Voice: Inej’s part in the morning map room visit (Gruella).
  • Voice: Inej’s part in the evening hide and seek (Gruella).
  • Voice: Inej’s part in the evening exploration (Gruella).
  • Voice: Inej’s part in the double oral scene with Sabetha (three variants, Gruella).
  • Voice: Sabetha & Inej’s morning scratches (Emery Aylar & Gruella).
Tweaks

  • Visual and sound direction has been improved in the opening sequence, to work best with our lovely new animations.
  • Voice acting and text have been aligned in many places.
Fixes

  • Enid’s pregnant sprites will actually appear in the game, rather than just lurking in our files. Whoops!
  • Sabetha and Inej’s wolfman fate and Valzira’s kobold fate can now be seen more than once.

Our latest update has been released! It contains a lot of remastered scenes - but Lubbio remains hard at work on our back catalogue, whilst our writers extend our horizons. This quick before-and-after gives a quick indication of what several years of experience, and the blessing of extra time, can do for some of our older scene art.

It turned out to be much more complicated than that, so I decided to give up and play the Android version instead. I could have installeed it on my smartphone, but I'd rather not have to use such a small screen for the game. A year or so ago I installed an Android emulator called LDPlayer4 on my PC, and I've managed to install Ravager under that. I was afraid that it might run unacceptably slowly or that the limited available RAM might be a problem, but so far it seems OK.

Glad to see confirmation that these released scenes are indeed part of Act V, and not Act IV as some people in here tried to imply.

Will we get more scenes with the dragon and the mother? Can we choose her as consort? Eldritch mom is kinda hot.
